Today’s Prayer (01/31/2020)

Oh Lord, help us live a life that is pleasing in Your sight and not our own. Help mold us and shape us into the person that You wish we would become and not what we think is right. Take us out of a life of sin and transform us through the Holy Spirit. We come to You in all our confessions, that You would redeem us from our sins and wash us clean. Cleanse us in Your blood, that we may walk blameless and holy in Your sight. Our desires are not to be conformed to the world any longer but only do as You would direct our lives. Help us get on Your path of righteousness and not fall off it. We need You near us each day so that we can stay strong in the faith and not have to worry about the enemy taking us down. Temptations will come, but with Your shield, we can come out victorious. Lord, I know that this new life is not all about me, but what I can do for Your kingdom. The Holy Spirit has shown me that loving others is the best thing I can do in life. This shows that I do love You when I love my neighbor as myself. You have taught me that giving is better than receiving. It is also better to pray for one another than praying my own needs. I know that You will answer my own personal prayers and am so grateful, it just brings me so much more joy when I can pray for others and see You do a work in there lives also. I can’t stand seeing people in need and not jump in and help them out, and I know that this giving Spirit comes from You, God. Thank You. You have made me more generous and kind than ever before. I am not better than others, but only wish to be a blessing upon people, as You would. Thank You for doing this work in my life and keeping me in Your perfect will. My faith has grown as I have looked to You each day in prayer and read the Bible. You have taught me so much, God, and I would not be where I am today without You. I give You all the glory and honor. I praise You, Lord. I love You. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/30/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray for people that are currently living sexual sin and have not repented as of yet. Still they think that they are fine with You, since they say they believe, but really, they are deceiving themselves. What they are doing, Lord, is wasting their lives, while finding pleasure in sin, where they should be finding pleasure doing Your will. What we have are people that are asleep and have faith that is dead. They may not realize it, but You can see everything. Really, our lives are an open book to You, oh God. We can’t hide in the bathroom and look at porn and still think we are Ok in Your sight. This is so wrong. Therefore, wake people up to repentance. Help them understand the gravity of their situation before it is too late. I do not wish to see people that go to church be cast in the lake of fire, because of their sins that were never taken care of. So I ask that any sin that is in my life and others that say You are their Lord, will be removed once and for all. I don’t wish to have the Holy Spirit grieved any longer, and I pray that others will also feel the same way. So help us know what is wrong with our current lifestyle, that we may be rebuked, and run to You for forgiveness. Truly, we can’t live our lives on sinking sand and think that we are going to heaven when we die, but only if we build our lives upon the rock of Jesus. Then, can we find the straight and narrow gate, which leads to heaven. Lord, I am grateful for Your written instructions on how we ought to live a holy life, and I pray that You will continue to mold me and shape me into the person I ought to be. I also pray that many more people will be called Your sons and daughters, before their life is up. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/29/2020)

Oh Lord, help us learn to love as You would have us love our neighbor and our enemies. It is our desire to do Your will and not our own. So teach us this day to live as You lived while You were on earth. Yes, Jesus, You are the greatest example of love in the purest form. What you taught about being loving towards everyone was showcased in how you treated others around You also. When you taught us to show love to our enemies, You did this while willfully submitting yourself to die for our sins. And even though we don’t deserve Your mercy, You show it to us anyway. What a great God I serve! Thank You, Lord. I know that I am not always the best person when it comes to displaying Your love, but I pray that I will get better at doing this as time permits. There are days that I say things to my wife and others that are hurtful, which makes me sorrowful and pained inside. I know that when I say sorry, it isn’t always accepted also, which is also so sad to know. But Lord, one thing I will never stop doing is tell people sorry when I’ve hurt them. I guess it is up to them to forgive me, as I know that You have already done this. In my confessions, You have heard my cries and have shown me compassion. For this reason, there are no more hard feelings for people that have done me wrong, but only love and forgiveness towards them. Lord, I may not always be so loving, but I am working on it every day, as I seek Your hand. That is why I need You in my life at all times. Make a home inside my heart, that others will see a light in my life and also want to know You. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/28/2020)

Oh Lord, I love You and only want to do Your will. It is when You are working inside of me is when I am the happiest. Not when I am receiving something, but when I can give myself and things to others. This is true love and joy. Lord, You have taught me that I don’t need things in life to be happy, but only what I can give brings me happiness. Truly, Your teaching on the two greatest commandments has hit me like a truck would. I now know that as I love on You, that I should also be loving upon others, even my enemy. So when people have done bad things to me, I will still show them kindness as You do to those that have hurt You but have repented later. You have taught me that forgiveness is not only sought after from us to You but from others to us that need it. So how can I be so insensitive and not say sorry myself, and forgive others when You do this for me every day of my life? And Lord, when I see people in need, I can’t control myself but run to turn to them for assistance. It saddens me deeply to know that someone is suffering and needs help. This is Your love and compassion speaking through my life, which You made for me. I am able to understand what love really is like because the Holy Spirit is with me. For this reason, I am happy to purchase whatever is possible to help a homeless person or pay for someone’s groceries in the store, who is struggling. So lead me to those people that are in more need than myself. Give me the courage to speak to them, that I may not only help them but lead them to know You, Jesus. It is my prayer that every person that I help, will also develop a personal relationship with You. I do not only want to see people get well and get the help they need but also be prepared to meet You one day in heaven. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/27/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that Your love will begin to fill our lives.  There are so many people in need, but only You can break through to people, in order to help them know this is true.  The selfishness in their lives is not helping the matter also, but only destroying their ability to serve You with their whole hearts.  So do a work in every person’s life that says they believe in You, that Your love will be on full display in their lives and others.  Surely, people will not ever realize what Your joy is like until they have been in Your service, oh God.  I have met way to many people that have said that the Holy Spirit is in not present with them, but how can this be?  If these same people would simply be willing to follow You, then doors would start opening up.  They would see Your blessings poured out upon their lives, and then want to share these blessings with others.  Just as You opened my eyes to the importance of feeding the homeless and caring for their needs, these people that seek You need to know this.  Then will more people know that caring for others is necessary, and people that have done Your good works selflessly will have the Holy Spirit with them.  As I have encountered the Spirit each week, while showing love towards others, every person in Your church can also be led by You.  You did not leave us comfortless but have left the Holy Spirit to lead us on the path of righteousness.  Thank You, Lord.  I pray that this day and forever, I will continue on this path that You have set for me.  I love You, Lord.  Helping others is the least I can do as an offering of my heart to serve You.  Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/26/2020)

Lord, I pray for Kobe Bryant’s wife and family. Right now they are going through a lot of pain and anguish, having lost, not only Kobe, but Gianna, his daughter, as well. I can just imagine how his wife is feeling at this moment in time and my heart is aching because of this. I know that many people looked up to this man, and to see him suddenly dying in a helicopter crash is devastating. So Lord, bring comfort and peace upon those people that are affected. Help me and others get through this sad loss. I know that I will need Your strength to carry on, so I cannot even imagine how other people are dealing with this loss as well. All I can ask in such an event like this is to help people know that life is short. May they make every moment count, especially when it comes to coming to You for salvation. I know that I do not know the hour or day that I will pass on from death unto life, but when that day does come, I will be ready to meet You, Lord. You are my greatest joy and the anchor of my soul. Be with me now and forever. I do not wish to leave people behind wondering where I will be after I die. So let this day be known that I am in Your hands. You are my Lord, and Savior, Jesus. I commit my life to follow You now, as I did those five years ago. Also, Lord, help the Bryant household be at peace. May their faith, if any, grow because of this event. I pray that they will look to You in faith and no longer look back. And as for Kobe and his daughter, You know where they are now. Have mercy upon their souls, and bring peace to those that are left behind. I love You, God. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/25/2020)

Oh Lord, I believe in You, God. You are all-powerful and can do all things for my life, for the greater good. I may not be ready to fight the battles in life, but with You on my side, I can come out victorious. Therefore, I ask You this day to come into my life fully. I am ready to make You the king of my life and allow You to use me for Your kingdom. I may have been hesitant to go all-in for what You want to do in my life, but I am ready now. I do not wish to have the enemy have his way in my life anymore. So please come and make me a shield of faith. Give me a sword to fight the enemy, even Your Word. The Bible is sharper than any two-edged sword. What You have spoken convicts my hearts to repentance, that I may live a life that pleases You. It also causes the enemy to freeze in his tracks, that He will have no room in my life any longer. I may be tempted still, but You are able to lead me out of temptation. This I pray that You will be with me and lead me far from the enemy. I trust that You can do all things in my life. Even sin can be removed from my heart if You desire it. I do not wish to walk in willful sin, but only to have You expel it from my heart, my mind, and my actions. I pray that people will look at me and see You. It is my desire to share Your love with all people, and by having Your light in me many more souls will be saved. Thank You, Jesus, for your forgiveness and mercy. I am grateful to see You moving in my life now and seeing where You will take me. I love You. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/24/2020)

Oh Lord, thank You for first establishing your house upon this earth and then opening the doors for us all to have Your presence in our lives. We need You in our lives, God, so thank You for establishing Your temple in us now. It would be so difficult to know Your will if I had to be in a specific place to know it. So thank You for ripping the veil in two, when You were raised upon the cross. This made it so that we can all come unto You, which I am amazed and honored to come unto You now. Thank You, Lord. I pledge my life now and forever to seek Your hand first in my life. I love Your counsel, even when You chasten me does it bring me down to my knees in repentance. I know that I am not perfect and need You to correct me when I do fall. I am not unhappy by this at all, but so happy that You care so much for me, as to want to lead me on Your path of righteousness. So even now do I come to You in my confessions. Lead me out of the darkness and into Your light. Forgive me of all my faults that I have committed. Lead me from the enemy, oh Lord, and into Your matchless arms. This empty life, where I always need something new or better to be happy, is not meant for me, but only Your love that You give me. When Your presence is with me, I am fulfilled. Even Your mercy and grace awakens my soul to seek You more and more. I love Your ways, oh God, and love You with all my heart. If I have done anything good, it is by Your hands. Thank You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/23/2020)

Lord, I praise You this day and forever. You are holy and I love You with all my heart. I cry out to You now in honor and respect to my King. Oh, how I adore You, Lord. There is no one like You, God. My life is secure because You are in my life. I am strengthened each day because of Your presence. I don’t need the things of this world to be happy, but only You, God. Because You have allowed the Holy Spirit to be with me, my life and my family have been uplifted in Your love. All I need is You, Lord, and everything else not only makes sense but falls perfectly in my steps ahead of me. Truly, as I have sought after You, has my passions been satisfied. My desires have been fulfilled because you have blessed me. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, God. I am not worthy of Your love, Your respect, Your compassion, Your goodness, Your mercy, Your Grace, and Your kindness, but You still come to me. What a Savior I have. You have heard my cries and have comforted my soul. I am perfectly at peace, for in You I am able to rest. You are the anchor of my soul, who gives me life and light abundant. I don’t have to go out searching for love, for You showcase Your love to me every day that I have breath. Thank You for forgiving me and cleansing me through Your blood. The cross has given me another chance in life to be made clean. There is no more guilt or condemnation, but gladness and much joy. Thank You, Lord. I praise You, God. I love You. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/22/2020)

Oh Lord, it is so good just to lift my hands up in praise and worship Your great Name. There are even times that all I want to do is move around while crying out to You in prayer. Some times when a worship song comes on, I just want to dance before You, for You deserve all that I am within me. I am saved because You died for me on the cross. I am so blessed because the Savior of the world decided to dine with me. My life is changed because You are with me now. I can call upon Your Name and know that You will be there to answer me. There is no doubt in my mind that there are great and mighty things in store for my life, because I seek You often, even in my thoughts. Thank You so much for speaking life inside of my lost soul. Because the Holy Spirit is with me now, I am made alive in You. There is no holding back the things I am able to do now because You have me by the hand. Even when I was in sin, You heard my cries and carried me on your shoulders to safety. I am no longer weak but made strong in You. I can do all things, because You strengthen me in Your Word, in prayer, in worship, and in service to You. Thank You, Lord. I pledge my whole life to serve You now and forever. Come and make a place for me not only in heaven but inside of me at all times. With Your shield, the enemy has no place in my life. I can walk in Your love and not have to worry about sin and doubt entering my life. You have paid it all for me. Now, I just need You evermore. I love You, Lord. All the praise and glory to Your great Name. I honor You not only with my words but in my actions. Use me for Your kingdom. I honor You. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/21/2020)

Oh Lord, thank You for this life. Thank You for helping me, though I don’t always deserve it. You have not left me comfortless, but have poured upon my life the Holy Spirit. Therefore, if I am being led, it is by Your hand and not my own. I once lived apart from Your love, but it was never something that satisfied my soul like it is now. In all my sins was I more pained because of the guilt that was weighing upon my life. I may have liked it in the time that I looked at women to lust, but then felt awful in my heart later on about it. Even the pornography I looked at, ate at my soul afterward while making me feel so dirty inside. I know that I was not acting the way I should have, especially when I went so far, like David did, and had an affair with another woman. This really took me down the road of depression and my soul was heavy with Your wrath. Thank You for not striking me down at that time in my life, while allowing me to surrender myself to you. I may not have known You then, but I am grateful that You have allowed me to come unto You, that I may know You now. The day I pleaded for Your forgiveness, not knowing that You would respond favorably, is when You did come. While in Your presence, I felt peace like never before. It was like You had Your arms around me and never wanted to let me go. Oh, thank You, God. That day, Your mercy fell upon me and I was yours. Thank You for Your forgiveness and grace. I was once living a life of sin, but all this has changed since You have transformed my life. I have been cleansed by Your blood and am so grateful. You are my Savior and my greatest joy of all. I love an honor You with my whole heart. All the praise and glory to Your mighty Name, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/20/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray for every person that has hurt me. These people do not know what they are doing, or else they would repent and allow Your love to carry themselves in this life. People would not be calling me and other people names if they knew what this was really doing to us. They would not be out starting a fight, but understand that the person’s life that they are harming is relied on by their family heavily, in order to be a good father or mother to their children. Truly, making other people feel bad is not what You have ever intended people to act like. Instead, they act out in their selfish ways, and the innocent are affected wrongfully. And though these people are wicked, because of their sins, I plead, Lord, that You will help me love such people. Even while they are hurting me or someone else I love, will I tell them about You and how You died for their sins on the cross. That through following You, they can be saved. You do have the power to cleanse us from all our sins. No matter what we have done in this life, there is still forgiveness and mercy. If these people that carry anger in their hearts could just experience what it means to be loved by You, then all this would be stopped. They would look to You in faith, as we have Lord. So I pray for people that are hurting inside, while causing harm upon others, will come to the feet of Your cross. May your brothers and sisters in the faith also show continued love to their enemies. I love You, God. You mean everything to me. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/19/2020)

Oh Lord, I love You. Doing Your will means more to me than being fulfilled in the flesh. I am not willing to have myself be scarred by the lusts of this world any longer. It is not worth being pained by the sins I have committed and the lives I have then affected wrongfully. I am sorry for the life I once led, while in my sexual sins. Back before I knew You I was engrossed with pornography and even an adulterous affair. And when it dawned on me how far I had fallen, I saw myself as a wretched sinner. Surely, You could have struck me dead in that time of my life, while I would have been destined to hell, but You showed me mercy and love. In my sins, I called upon Your Name and You rescued me. Though what I had done had caused many people to distrust me, You never gave up on me. I may not have had the strength to live any differently, but You still put Your Spirit in me. Now I have new desires and a willingness to serve You. Thank You, Jesus. It is because of what You have done for my life that my life is now different. Because You died for my sins and I have made You the Lord of my life, I am cleansed from all my sins. You have shown me compassion while forgiving me. I never knew what love was really like until You came down and opened the door to me in Your Father’s house above. I was the prodigal son, but have returned, my Lord. Thank You, God. I never wanted to leave You, but the world had a stronghold on my life. So I praise You now and forever. I glorify in Your holy Name. My soul sings hallelujah, for my Savior has come to restore my life into the greatest joy of all. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/18/2020)

Lord, it is my prayer that people will start reading the Bible for themselves. This way they will begin to know Your truths in Your Word, and no longer be deceived by the doctrines of men. I am very worried that too many people that say they are Christian are actually believing in false doctrines and don’t even realize it. It would be very sad to see these people go before You in judgment one day, not realizing that they were walking on the path of destruction when they died. This would be devastating, God. And it is not my wish that anyone should perish in their unbelief, but to know You and to find wisdom and understanding from the Bible. So wake people up from all religions, so that people will decide for themselves to know Your truth. Then, can You pour into them the Holy Spirit, that they may be led to know the truth from above. Truly, it is taught in scripture that Mary needed a Savior and therefore magnified the Lord. So we ought to also worship You, oh Lord, and not Mary. It is also taught that Mary was not always a virgin, but had her own family. So people that pray to the virgin May are very off track and need to repent. For surely, this is idolatry and is uncalled for in Your Kingdom, oh Lord. Convict such people to throw out there rosary beads. To break into pieces their idols of Mary and the Saints. Surely, we cannot walk in Your presence if we continue to do things of the flesh. So this day, I promise to allow You to cast out of my life anything that is contrary to You. And my prayer is that people in the Catholic faith will do the same. That they will begin to read the Bible daily, pray often, and come to You, as their personal Savior. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/17/2020)

Lord, I pray that my thoughts will always be for You. That You will continue to lead me by the hand, and that the enemy will not overpower me. I do not wish to make the wrong decisions in life, which will only draw me away from Your presence. Doing this has only caused me to be in more pain and anguish than I desire. It also causes me to be full of guilt, because of my sins. Therefore, I know that in these times I have let You down and I am sorry. It is not my intention to go the opposite way in life but to be on Your righteous path. So I ask that You will forgive me, and not allow my flesh to fall down into sin because it is weak. You are my strong tower and my deliver, so I know that You can give me the strength to overcome sin, that I may no longer walk in it. And I come to You for full deliverance from the enemy. I need You in my life, Lord. Come and make a place in my heart, and in my mind, and in my soul. I love You, and I will show this through my obedience to You now. My ways are filthy, but if You are leading me, then they are righteous. Lord, I don’t only wish to be fulfilled in Your love, but also show Your great love to everyone I meet. Cause me to be filled with the Holy Spirit, that Your kindness, gentleness, meekness, love, compassion, mercy, and patience will be shown towards all people. No person will be excluded, for every wall is torn down with Your love in my life. Every person that has wronged me is now forgiven, and hardships are mended because You are working in me. I trust in You, Lord. I love You, God. I give You praise and worship You now. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/16/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that our hearts will be in the right place with You at all times. That we will not allow there to be any walls built up in our lives but allow You to tear them all down. And if it means that we ought to start showing more kindness towards others, put a spark inside of us, that we may do this. Every person in our lives deserves to hear that they are loved, that they are forgiven, that we are sorry for our actions, and how much we respect them because of all they do. Sure, it is fine to think of al the good things that people have done after a person dies, and this makes sense, but it makes more sense to start acting this way while that person still has breath. So Lord put inside of us a Spirit of forgiveness, kindness, compassion, longsuffering, gentleness, patience, and love. Shine down upon our lives Your light, that every person we encounter will have this same Spirit flow into their lives also. It is my desire that people will be touched by Your mighty hand each time that they have the opportunity to be around me. I don’t want it to ever be a hindrance upon people, but always a blessing. Just as You show us such love and respect that we don’t deserve, do I hope and pray that these same qualities will become a part of my everyday life and for all people that call themselves Christian. It is truly an honor to know You, Jesus. This is why I proclaim that I am Christian, for You are inside of me, guiding me by the hand. I am only strong because You have carried me forth in this life. I love You, Lord. Thank You for everything. All the praise and honor to Your Name, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/15/2020)

Lord, I love You and only wish to do Your will. If there is anything in my life that offends You now, please strip it from me. I do not wish to grieve the Holy Spirit, but to walk in Your ways, oh Lord. Dress me in Your robes of righteousness, that I may shine Your light in the darkness of this world. Cleanse me this day of any sins that I have committed, that it may be forgiven. I love You more than the things of this world. Nothing the enemy can offer me can take Your place, oh God. I have already experienced the pleasures that the world had to offer me, and only found temporary pleasure in such things, and also a lot of guilt associated with it. The worst thing of all is that these things drew me away from You. My time was wasted in the things I watched on TV, movies, the internet, and video games. And it all was of one word, FILTH. Yes, God, I was filthy because You were not with me. Sure, there may have been a portion of me that wanted to live differently, but I never showed it. I knew of You and even said I believed, but I was only lying to myself. I’ve learned that if I do not obey Your voice, while not allowing You to change my life, I am only a hypocrite in saying that I am a Christian. Truly, my sins cried out to You and I kept them hidden in my heart. So I want to tell You how sorry I am and thank You for rescuing a wretched person such as I. I did not deserve Your mercy, but You extended it anyway. You heard my confessions and had compassion for my soul. Thank You, Lord. All I want to do now is listen to You and obey Your voice. I love You, God. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/14/2020)

Oh Lord, I believe in You and trust in you for answers. Even in my distress do I come to You for guidance and direction. I may not know what to do in my life when I know that the enemy is closing in, but You have a way to allow me to escape such things. Nothing that the enemy wants to throw at me, will ever stand up against Your will power for my life. I am stronger because You are with me. You give me encouragement when I cannot find it anywhere else. Thank You, Lord. For even when things are hard, You come in and lift me up, that my burdens may be light. There is no such bondage that I can ever be under that You cannot give me a way to escape it. For You are all powerful beyond measure. My hope is restored even under the hardest of circumstances, because You have given me an outlook on the situation that I didn’t see before, and are now helping me move forward. So in death do I trust that You know why it happened, and I put it in Your hands. When there is a robbery or theft, I trust that You know what we should do next. Even when jobs end unexpectedly, I trust that You know why this happened and I have hope that You, Lord, will help me find an even more suitable job for me and my family. It can be hard when trials face my family because of an addiction, but I know that you have the power to lead me or another family member out of it. We just need to keep praying and trusting in You, Lord, for answers. We may find ourselves with some hard decisions to make, but even these things are made more simple to do when You are there with us. Thank You, Lord. I love You, God. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/13/2020)

Oh Lord, thank You for making everything work out as it should, for You to come into the world, in order to save us from our sins. I am grateful that David listened to Achish and fled for his life when war was raging upon his city. Because of this, his lineage did continue, and You came into the world from Him. Oh, praise the Lord. All things work out for the good because You are our King and Lord of all. The enemy has no chance to take down the forces of God, for You are stronger. And with Your power in our lives, we can accomplish all things. For surely in our weakness, You make us strong. We can go forward in faith because You have our hands and are ready to fight the battles with us. You know exactly where we ought to go, so I am here to listen and walk where You will lead me. Guide all my steps, that I may walk uprightly in Your sight, and not fall victim to my own pride. In my flesh, I am weak, but You have the power to build me up, where I cannot. And where I have no power over sin, You have given me new desires and a clean heart to serve You. Surely, in myself I am nothing, but in Your will power, I am strong. Thank You for cleansing me and showing me a better way to live my life. I will go where You want me to go. If it means fighting for Your cause, I will do it. And if You would have me run from the enemy, I will flee by Your hand. My life is not my own, but Yours. My body is Your temple, so use me as You will see fit. May I fulfill this life, while walking in Your light and seeing many more souls be saved. I love to witness Your truths, so continue to give me boldness to speak to others. I love You, Lord. You are my God, and I worship You. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/12/2020)

Oh Lord, it is my desire that people will understand Your will for their lives. That they will no longer believe in things that are contrary to Your will but accept only what You’ve taught us in the Bible. People can mess with what Your Word has said, but this does not mean that You approve of such things. Truly, tampering with the Bible is making a mockery of what You’ve said through the men of God over the centuries, by way of the Spirit. So I pray that people will come out of every false teaching. May they find Your truth and get on the straight and narrow path that leads to heaven. Then, will they be set free from every form of darkness in their life now, through Your mighty power. There is a prescribed way for us to live by, while in this life, and then go to heaven. This way of life comes through You, Jesus. Yes, Lord, we cannot go through any other person, but through You alone to be saved. Thank You for making this crystal clear for every person that reads the Bible. I also know that only in this life can we get right with You and be saved. There are no second chances, but only judgment that awaits us all. As You have spoken, my heart has been moved to repent and allow You to cleanse me from within. I no longer wish to grieve the Holy Spirit, but allow You to move in my life freely. Thank You for changing my life and for helping me understand that there is more to faith than just saying we believe. For belief in You is also how we seek You daily in prayer and follow You. All I know God is that if I was not obedient to what You’ve taught in scripture, that I would still be under the bondage of sin. But now You have given me new desires and a clean heart to serve You. And for this reason, I give You the glory and all the praise. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/11/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will understand that it is off-limits for us to call upon the dead or consult any person that calls themselves a medium. Surely, this is putting ourselves at risk of having an evil spirit enter our lives. No matter if the dead can be called, You have called us to not dabble in such things. Even in the day we live in, people may say that witchcraft and sorcery are not common anymore, but You know the truth, of Lord. It is sad to see people I know and love call themselves Christians and still use magic cards, while thinking it is OK with You. Surely, this is nothing different than conjuring up spells, which is despicable in Your sight. I often wonder how people are so interested in fortune tellers or magic shows, for these things do not lift You up, but Satan instead. We are not seeking You if our hearts are set on the things of this world. Therefore, I pray that You will lose people that are currently in bondage because of their sins, and seeking after things that are unseemly in Your sight. It is my prayer that people will be drawn to know what You desire for our lives, not what they think is good. Our flesh will deceive us into following dark paths that lead us nowhere but hell. So I pray that people will start to pray often and read the Bible daily. Then will they know what You’ve said in scripture, and begin to be obedient to You as well. It is one thing to know what You have said, and another to follow and do as You say. For me, it is an honor to read and understand Your teachings better. To live them out brings me joy. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/10/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will desire to do what they can in order to better understand the Bible. Nowadays we have many resources at our fingertips that will greatly help us learn and understand what You have taught us in scripture. Therefore, there is no excuse for not reading the Bible, and when we are, to not understand it. So give me and other people in the faith a greater desire to make time for You, while reading the Bible daily. And enlighten our minds as we read. Teach us things that will help us in our daily life. Convict us of any faults that are in our lives now. It is amazing the things I learn, while reading the Bible, that truly change my thoughts on different things. Where I once loved the things of the flesh and being gratified through what the world could offer me. Now, I’ve learned to despise anything that is fleshly in nature, since it doesn’t come from above. I don’t wish to have more guilt or shame built up in my life, because of the lusts within me, but be carried away in the Holy Spirit. So fill me up this day and forever with the Holy Spirit. I wish to be guided in Your light, and not only gain understanding but also have the strength to live out what I have been taught. To know You is one thing, but to honor You in my actions is another thing. I love You, Lord. To do Your will brings me the greatest joy of all. I love Your teachings in scripture. Each day I want to be filled up and be led by Your hand. Thank You, Jesus. I praise the King of glory. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/09/2020)

Oh Lord, my heart cries out for all the innocent people that have been killed over the years. Millions of unborn babies are slaughtered each year in abortion, of which my soul cries out for people to stop it. I don’t want to hear about another innocent life like this being killed while denying the importance of your beautiful creation and to reproduce. I am also afflicted in knowing that there have been millions of lives killed in not only wars but also by the hands of people that hate Christians. All this conflict and death is very sad, and only praise being to those people that have stood up for their faith even until the end of their lives. Lord, it is my desire that Your commandment, thou shalt not kill, will be rightly understood in people’s lives. May this convict people when they are about to murder someone without a cause. And really, Lord, is there ever a reason now to take an innocent life? Absolutely not! No possessions that they have could bring me joy by taking their life over. No life lost like this or in the heat of the moment is ever right. For life is precious in your sight. Lord, may more people seek Your hand more often in prayer and read the Bible daily, that Your words will be in their hearts. Then, will they know how to act under different circumstances, while keeping their cool and not overreacting. It is love that changes the atmosphere. So I pray that You will usher into every person’s life Your love, that love, peace, compassion, and kindness will abound in other people’s lives that we encounter. I love You, Lord. To do Your will is what brings me joy. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/08/2020)

Oh Lord, I love You and Your ways. It is because You are in my life that I wish to only show kindness and love towards all men, women, and children. Even if I am harmed, it is Your peace and compassion I will give them, for they don’t really know what they are doing. If they did, then they would not be acting as cruel as they are. They would not be causing hardships upon me and other Christians, in order to cause us to feel pain. These people may be an enemy to us because of how they pursue us now, but I have hope that they can still become our friend if they would just seek Your hand in their lives. All I wish to do is show love, even though many people don’t see it as love. Even Your words, oh Lord, may seem like they are being judged, but surely, I am only drawing them to You, that You may do a work in their lives. Because You have changed my life, even from the inside out, I have new desires to love one another as You love me. I am so grateful just to know You and to experience the warmth of Your love each day, and to showcase that same love towards others is the least I can do. For I love Your ways. Your commandments and laws for mankind are a song to my soul. For to be in line with Your teachings brings me so much joy and happiness. Only in the flesh did I ever experience temporary pleasure, but with pain and guilt along with it. However, since You have heard my cries and rescued me from the bondage of sin, I have been set free. Now I am no longer a slave to sin, but a bondservant to Your kingdom, oh God. Even until death will I trust and follow You. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/07/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray for each person who is living an adulterous lifestyle. These people know as well as I do that what they are doing is wrong, but continue in it anyways until there are consequences added to their actions. Surely their conscience is seared because of the wickedness they have committed, even before Your sight, oh God. What a mockery it is to say a person like this can believe in You and say they are saved, while willingly live in their sinful state. Oh, the blasphemy that is coming from their mouths as they commit whoredoms, which are despicable in Your sight. These people are vial and have no room for Your glorious and pure kingdom above. Therefore, come and convict such people in their sins. Draw them near unto You, that they may learn to fear the living God, and no longer walk willfully in their sins. Help them know that their bodies are Your holy temple and should never be tarnished by adultery, sex outside of marriage, or pornography. These sexual sins will only kill a person’s soul and cause them to walk the path of destruction which leads to hell, lest they come unto You, Jesus, in all their confessions. So I pray that this will happen and that many more souls will be saved, that are headed now to hell when they die. Surely, their time is not up yet, so set a fire in their souls, that they may desire to know You as the true God and Savior of this world. I believe in You, Lord. I trust in You. Thank You for your forgiveness and mercy for my life. I just pray that others will fill Your hand of mercy and compassion and be saved also. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/06/2020)

Lord, I pray for every person that is living a homosexual lifestyle right now. Such people are not right in their minds and only You can change their wicked hearts. There is salvation in Your mighty Name, Jesus, and I pray that these people will repent of their sins, that they may get right with You, starting today. There is still time for them to know the truth of what You’ve said in the Bible and be saved. I know family members that are now like this and I also pray for them, Lord. Lead these people and others out of the destructive lifestyle they have got themselves in, that they may find true joy which comes above. People can fabricate in their minds what happiness is like, but it is really only a fad that will not last over time, unless You have allowed it to happen in our lives, God. We can lie all we want to in our minds and say that it is truth, but still, it doesn’t mean that it is in Your will. What I wish people would realize, Lord, is that there is a major difference in the lifestyle of a true Christian who loves You enough to follow You, and another person who says they love You and continue to live in their willful sins. And when people do this, that is when life is harder then it has to be for their lives. Such people have often found themselves get very sick with Aids, STDs, and other autoimmune diseases, which could have not happened, if they were not living this way. And Lord, I believe that You are our healer. Even people that are sick in this way can still be healed when they give their lives to You. So I pray for every person that is still suffering because of the sickness they got while being homosexual, that they may be healed. In Your mighty Name, Jesus, I pray this. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/05/2020)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will not become haughty and think we are better than others. Surely, pride causes people that think they are righteous to fall deeper into sin than others. And this I worry about, since I know of many people that have done some great things, and I pray that they are giving You the glory. If not, then they may find themselves in this same boat of being more prideful then they should be. Lord, I know how wrong this is, for the times I’ve felt that I was in control of my life is when, and was good with You. is when I let down my armor. This is when temptation came in and destroyed my life. It was in my pride that I fell hard, and it wasn’t for weeks that I could find myself at a good point with You again. It was pornography that slipped back into my life, of which I hate spiritually, but my flesh loves. What a vice this is for Satan to tempt people with. Surely, many people in the faith have fallen and not come back because of pornography, fornication, and adultery. These things leave stains in our lives, and I am so happy, Lord, that You turned my heart away from such evil things. I know that if I had not come to You as quickly as I had about my sexual sins, I would also be in the same boat as others are in now. So praise be to Your Name, oh God, and Savior of my soul. Your mercy and grace have saved my soul from death and unto life eternal. Your forgiveness is what I needed to desire more of You now and less of me. I am honored to be Your humble servant, for all I need is what You offer me. If I accomplish anything worthwhile, I give You all the glory. I love You, God. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/04/2020)

Lord, I love Your ways. To abide in You brings me love that never ends. Therefore, I need Your presence in my life at all times, that I may continue to do as You say. My thoughts, desires, and actions, are only filthy rags if they are not mended with Your righteous counsel in them. I don’t wish to do the things in this life that displeases You, but only do what You command for me. I say this because my ways are evil without You. I say the wrong things, and hurt people that I love when I don’t listen to Your voice. And sadly I have felt much grief and pain because of my own selfish ambitions. So rip out of my heart every part of me that is defiant against Your best wishes. Make me conformed to Your holy ways and not my own. Then, I will be able to listen and obey Your calling for my life. May I walk in Your continued love, that others will be blessed also. You have made me to despise wickedness and I am grateful for that. For this reason, I do not wish to have anyone fall into the same willful sins that I have. So instead, instill in me and other Christians that love You, verses from the Bible, that we might teach those that are lost and are walking in darkness. Help instill in us a light that will shine forth in the darkness, that people will be drawn unto You. May there be fruit in our lives as we get up each day to serve You in Your kingdom. Surely, You are my Shepherd, the vine of the vineyard, and I am willing to serve You, even until the ends of this earth. Lead me always. Keep me in Your care, that no person will take me down with them. Keep me upright in Your holiness that temptation will not lead me into sinning against You. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/02/2020)

Oh Lord, I love You and only want to do as You would have me live this life. Even when people have hurt me over these many years, all I desire is that they receive my forgiveness, as You have forgiven me. Surely, how can I receive Your forgiveness freely, when I cannot forgive others? I would be a hypocrite of wanting something that I am unwilling to do myself. So cast out all anger, evil intentions, and resentment from every person’s heart that are having a hard time forgiving there neighbor now. I ask this especially for those that call themselves Christians. These are the people who desire forgiveness from You and need to learn how to forgive others now, and not later. So come into their lives, as You have come into mine, and break down every wall that is up. Help these people see the good in all people, including those that have hurt them, while showing love to their enemies. Surely, it is so good to have Your mercy and compassion fall down upon me when I have wronged You. Therefore, all I wish is that people would receive the forgiveness and mercy that I have towards them. There are no more hard feelings towards anyone who has done me unjustly in this life, but only love as You love them, oh Lord. Thank You for teaching me this lesson on forgiveness and mercy. I am so grateful to be on the receiving grounds of Your mercy in my life. And because of my faith in You, God, who saves, I am moved to forgive and love as you do. It is a pleasure to love You and my neighbor as myself. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (01/01/2020)

Oh Lord, may this new year be in your favor and not mine. Liken my life even more so to Your will and not my own. Help me to be more loving towards others, as you are so loving towards me. May I learn to forgive others, as You have forgiven me of my sins. Allow my thoughts to be upon You at all times, that I may not slip and fall into willful sin. My desire is to live my life entirely for You, and I need the Holy Spirit with me to do so. I am not strong on my own, but Your strength is what builds me up when I seek You. Keep me far from temptation, that I may serve You with a clean conscience and not having been stained through worldly pleasures. And Lord, as I read the Bible daily, teach me. Give me counsel, and help me apply Your teachings to my everyday life. I hope to get so much more out of scripture this year, so open my eyes to see the value of not only every chapter but every verse and words that are written. For in You is life eternal, and I wish that I may learn and grow in the faith. My own thinking is skewed by the ways of the world, but Your Words help take all the nonsense and false teachings out of the equation and push them aside. It is my desire to be in line with Your correct teachings, that I may walk in the good works that You have ordained for my life. Surely, Lord, You have given me eyes to see the truths of the gospel and I hope to be a better minister of it to the world. So shine down upon me, that all the world will know that Jesus saves. I love You, Lord. I am so happy that I gave my life to You those many years ago. This new life has brought so much joy, happiness, and love in my life, and I give You thanks. I praise You. Thank You, God. Amen.
