Modern-day revelations in Mormonism are not of God but man-made ideas over the space and time of this cult. These man-made beliefs have caused millions of people to believe in a variety of false beliefs and lies over the years. One of these false teachings is that Adam is Michael the archangel. You can see these false teaching below. Joseph Smith said, “And also with Michael, or Adam, the father of all, the prince of all, the ancient of days” (Doctrine and Covenants 27:11) Mark Peterson also said, “Indeed, Adam was very special and very important. Before coming into mortality, he was known as Michael. The Prophet Joseph Smith clearly identifies both Adam and Michael as one and the same person, an angel, the chief angel, or archangel, of heaven, the special servant of God and Christ. When Michael came into mortality he was known as Adam, the first man, but he was still his own self. Although he was given another name, that of Adam, he did not change his identity.” (Adam, The Archangel, Elder Mark E Peterson)
Is any of this biblical? Not at all. Everything you just read is all made up and not of God. God did form Adam from the dust of the earth, while breathing into Him His Spirit. Moses wrote this and said, “and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7) Adam was the first living soul on earth. Paul taught, “and so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.” (1 Corinthians 15:45) How sin entered into the world through Adam. Paul also said, “wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12) There is so much more in the Bible about Adam and nothing indicates that he is also Michael the archangel, or God, of which Mormons believe he was both. The truth is, we need to be weary of false teachers for they seem to be everywhere. The Mormon cult is full of them. Amen.

Oh Lord, I long for the salvation of more people in this world. Things are so dark and even many religious systems are teachings things of men in order to reach the masses, which is very sad. God, the Mormon church is blaspheming You and Your core teachings, and I wonder why this cult still exists. I know that it is important to reach them for Your sake, but these evangelical efforts are very difficult. These people are so hard-hearted, which makes it very hard to share the gospel with them. What I pray for is humility to enter people in this religious system. And more than that, to allow the Holy Spirit to penetrate their lives. If they just knew what they are missing out on, then they would gladly hear what Christians have to share with them, while allowing You to speak to their souls. Lord, help me to be a better witness for You. Keep my eyes focused on You, that I might see where I need to go and say to people. I love You, Jesus. I trust in You above all else. Lead me, guide me. I love You, Lord. I give You everything. Amen.
