Young Children That Die Are Saved

We can find peace even during a passing in our family. I am talking about young children, and even preborn, that die unexpectedly. Every stillborn, baby, toddler, and even young child are saved if they die. Young children are not accountable for their actions. When they die, there is a special place prepared for them in paradise. Speaking of this, David was told by Nathan that his young child would die. And so he fasted and prayed, and was very sorrowful. It reads, “but when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the Lord, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat. Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.” (2 Samuel 12:19-21)

Children that die cannot come back to us in this life alive unless a miracle occurs. However, those who are saved and enter paradise, after this life, will see their unborn babies, and any babies, toddlers, and young children they lost. It is in the following verses that we learn that David will see his young child again in the afterlife, which gives us all hope. It reads, “and he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the Lord loved him.” (2 Samuel 12:22-24) The peace of God is what allows us to move on even when life is hard. To continue to live our lives knowing that we will be with those that have passed on to the grave can only come from God. He pushes us through. Encouragement and prayers from others also helps. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that Your peace will come and reside not only in my life but in people’s lives that are struggling the most. I am talking about people who have recently lost a loved one. Death comes to everyone, but when it comes to someone close to us, bearing those burdens feels almost impossible. Therefore, I pray for every person who has just learned that someone they know has passed on to the grave. Help them, Lord. May they come to an understanding that young children who die are saved automatically. How they are not accountable for their actions until they can fully understand right from wrong. Your love is able to remain with them from this life to the next. God, I have many family members who are now older and know exactly what they are doing with their lives. Many of these people are making some awful decisions, and if they were to die, I would be afraid of what they would see and encounter. Truly, paradise is the only place I wish to go after death. Because I know You will be there, Jesus, lead me there also. I am Yours and You are mine. I love You. Amen.
