The day began with Patrick and I bringing our sign to the LDS Conference center. It wasn’t that far away so the walking wasn’t too bad. While witnessing to Mormons, a transgender lady came up to me. This ended up being an interesting conversation about Jesus and homosexuality. She didn’t understand why people don’t accept her as transgender, and I told her that being gay is evil in the sight of God. While at the conference center, I began we preached to the Mormons that were entering in and leaving the conference center. A lot of people were listening, while others laughed and scoffed at us. So many people were able to hear the preaching of Jesus and His true gospel. While we were out there, we found some distractors, namely Bob and Sean. I’ve talked to Bob many times. They both claim to be Mormon apologists, and admit to only coming out to distract Christians from talking to Mormons, who would be interested. These guys are snakes and have no desire to learn the truth of God. We spent about an hour talking to both of them until they finally admitted this and we were done.
“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.” (Acts 20:28-30)
Thankfully, we found some true seekers of truth that were Mormon. For these people, God opened our mouths and we helped them understand the true Jesus of the Bible. While with them, we went over the true gospel and what it means to believe in a false gospel. How, these false teachings come from false prophets and apostles, while then making up a Jesus to fit their beliefs. We also passed out many handouts that included the “Book Of Mormon Contradictions”, and “Mormon Teachings That Don’t Agree With The Bible”. We also met up a friend of mine named Jodie. He also helped pass out many tracts. Throughout the day, we spent time talking to the Anti-Mormon friendlies booth, while witnessing to Mormons that passed by us. Later in the evening, Chloe met up with us and we preached the gospel to the people at a haunted house. Afterward, we found a lady named, Shield, a homeless person, who was really hungry. So we got her some food and drink at Walmart. This was a beautiful day in God’s harvest. Much was accomplished that I don’t have words to write on. Amen.
