Oh Lord, I pray that You will help me understand the Bible and my dreams better. I am a dreamer and many times I cannot make sense of the things I witnessed while dreaming. The same things happen when I am reading a very difficult verse that could be given over to many different interpretations. I am slow to give my opinion and quick to say things only if You are leading me. I would never wish to lead anyone astray into believing a false doctrine that came forth because of a false interpretation of a chapter and verse in the Bible. I know this happens in many different denominations and cults, but I don’t wish to get myself involved in such things. I believe You left us the gift of the Holy Ghost. Even to those people who are born again through water and the Spirit. I still remember the day that I came out of the waters in baptism, I was filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Nothing on earth was going to stop me now from telling everyone I know about You, Jesus. But not just them did I want to tell, but everyone at work, in supermarkets, the streets, and more. I had experienced Your great love and now I wished to tell everyone else about it and that you really do save. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, You are worth more than what the flesh desires from this wicked world. I know deep down where my pitfalls are, but with You in my life I am strong to resist temptation. The devil can easily cause me to fall if I am alone because my flesh is weak. But he is no match to Your mighty power in me. I love it when I see the temptation coming and instead I begin to pray and the temptation is over. It feels so good to know that I was able to beat the temptation with You on my side. I can never do this on my own, but because You have an immense power in my life I can do all things. Surely, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. You are the one that has changed me and also given me a new heart and mind. For most of my life, I thought I was going down the right path and that it was for my good, but I was so wrong. I was only going down a dead-end because You were not the head of it. Thankfully, You have come and placed me on a path that leads to heaven. There is holiness, righteousness, purity, modesty, kindness joy, peace, love, and all things good with You in my life. All I want in life now is less of me and more of You. I love You, Lord. You are my God and I worship You this day and forever. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that You will help me and other Christians stay faithful unto You. I know that I have had my slew of mistakes these many years, for which I have asked You for forgiveness. Thankfully, You are a good God and Your mercy is for those who are really sorry for their sins. One thing I know is that every sin needs to be taken care of quickly and not swept under the rug. I have had things creep up, of which things would have been nothing if I had said something in the past about it. Thankfully, You are so patient and have not given up on me or other people who are convicted of our sins because of our new nature. My flesh is weak, but the Holy Spirit is what makes me a better person. I can walk in Your light because You are leading me and not myself. If I did all the work, then I would do nothing good. Surely, nothing is good on earth unless it is orchestrated by Your hand, God. I wish that people would understand this fact. The world has a way to make things appear to be good superficially, but without, You these things will all vanish away over time. Only Your gifts continue for all time. I trust in You, Jesus. I love You, Lord. Guide me in everything I do. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that You will help me and other Christians to walk out our faith no matter what happens. The storms will come and cause many people to doubt their faith. However, I pray that this will never happen with me or the members of my family. I am speaking of myself, my wife, and my children. I know that many of my brothers and sisters, parents, and other extended family members have already gone astray, but there is hope for them still. All we need is Your light to shine brightly before us and for our eyes to see it. You are so good to me, God. I don’t deserve all the many blessings that You extend towards me and my family. We have a home to live in, a car to drive, food on the table, and beds to sleep on. You keep us going day to day. Surely, the enemy has been trying to attack me and others I love, especially during the time of COVID. He has won over many and many have died. Even with the vaccine, more people are dying and I pray that You will keep us safe. Temptation is strong, but doing Your will is much better. I will serve You no matter what happens in my life. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that You will continue to be with me and my family all our days. That each one of us will come to know You personally as our Lord and Savior. You are my God, Jesus, and I pray that every person in my immediate and extended family will one day see this. You have already started something amazing with me, my wife, and my two daughters. My youngest loves to pray over the food and my whole family goes to church with me each Sunday. Praise God that You are leading them to want to do these things and not just do Your will because I force them. It would be terrible if my family only did things that You care for because they felt pressured into doing it. But since I cannot read their minds, I pray that my wife and my kids will each be drawn to You in their own way. May the generations that come from my seed be fruitful in not just children and grandchildren, but in their knowledge of You. That is fruitful indeed. You have said that if I train up my children in the way that they should go, they will never depart from it. I need that blessing to come true. I may not be the best husband or father, but I strive daily to teach my family about You, Jesus. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Oh Lord, help us all to understand the need to be made clean in Your presence. Truly, nothing unclean can dwell with You, especially the Holy Spirit. So often the Holy Spirit is quenched in people’s lives because they do the things they desire and not the things You wish us to do. And what is sad is that idolatry is still running ramped in our society. Even among so-called Christian churches like Catholicism we see idols built up for Mary and the Saints. People go to these idol-like figures and pray to them as people have done over the centuries to false gods. This is very disturbing and I pray that those who are a part of the Catholic church will wake up to their idolatrous ways. If needs be, cause these idols to crumble and fall in many pieces that they may know that this is a disgrace in Your sight. In the Catholic church, I know that there are many true Christians. People who are devout in their worship towards You. They don’t care for Mary or Saint worship like Christians do. Praise God for them. It is my prayer that people will rise up in the Catholic church and one day remove every idol from the church through an announcement that it is evil. I trust in You. I love You. This I pray, in Your Name, Jesus. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that You will give every woman that has been raped peace that is beyond her understanding. Fill her with Your love and help her know that many people around care so deeply for her. At the moment there is much anger inside their hearts. Trust for men is gone out the window. If a pregnancy is involved, abortion is often spoken of. It is my prayer, however, that these women do not make any rash decisions. Help them know how precious all children are, no matter how they come into the world. If a woman is pregnant and cannot fathom keeping that child, then give them over to thoughts of adoption instead. There are many married couples that would love to have children and cannot, or would just love to adopt. Praise God for families like this. These women need Your hand in their lives. Guide and direct them in the ways of righteousness. Help them to also trust men once again, especially their husband. I love You, Lord. I trust in You, God. Amen.
