Today’s Prayer (12/15/2021)

Oh Lord, I come to You in praise and adoration. To remember Your birth when the world is thinking about Santa, reindeer, the north pole, and gifts is the least I can do. Even this day do I bring to You spiritual gifts. I offer You my might, my heart, my mind, and my soul. I worship You, my King. I love You, God, with not only my lips but how I live for You daily. You are the lamp of which I follow. I do not follow men, which could lead me astray, but by Your mighty hand alone. Your mercy endures forever, and I am so grateful that it is for me. I have done such wicked things before coming to know You, and I am so thankful for Your forgiveness in my life. I am in awe at Your patience towards me when I have fallen short and done things I know I shouldn’t have. Still, You come and pick me back up again and place me on Your path that leads to heaven. My flesh is weak, but Your strength continues to lift me up each time I fall. I love You, Lord. It is my prayer that You lead me this hour and forevermore. I am Your child and worship You, my King. Amen.

Luke 1:26-28

Luke 1:26-28 (KJV)
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Today’s Prayer (12/14/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will remember You not only in this time during the Christmas season, but every day of our lives. There is only one God who saves and I am so grateful that You have come into my life to save me. Who am I among the billions of people on this earth? Surely, You have called me out from the darkness and into Your light. I love Your ways, God. Your wise counsel breaths new life into my soul. Living for You makes me so happy. There is joy in my life that cannot be explained by mere feelings. You are so good to me, God. I just pray that I may be a light to my family, friends, and co-workers, who are around me most of the time. How can I say I love You and make people believe that I am just like everyone else while with people? I would be such a hypocrite to go out with co-workers to bars after work, when I should be letting them know why getting drunk is wrong. Lord, so often do people fear the worst and open their mouths because of this. They think that if they say something about their beliefs, that they will be looked down upon or even lose their job over time. This is so sad, and I promise to never compromise my beliefs for anything this world offers me. I love You more. Amen.

Matthew 2:12-15

Matthew 2:12-15 (KJV)
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Today’s Prayer (12/13/2021)

Oh Lord, I give You praise and glory during this Christmas season and forevermore. I am honored and blessed to have You in my life, Jesus. I can’t even imagine how the three wise men must have felt the moment they saw You in the home of Mary and Joseph. In awe, must have they fell down on their knees for some time in worship to You, my King. Even now does my heart sing out in praise to the Son of God, who is Christ the Lord. I love what You have done for us, Jesus, more than anything else I have ever known in this lifetime. Because You came down to save us from our sins, I have forgiveness and mercy, though I don’t deserve it. Through the cross, my sins are washed clean through Your blood. I am continually left without words because of what You have done. The scriptures are correct in that Your mission was to save Your people from their sins. Thankfully, You have adopted us as Your believers in these latter days. I may not be a Jew, but I worship You all the same. I love You, Jesus. Have Your way in my life. Lead me, Lord. Amen.

Matthew 2:9-12

Matthew 2:9-12 (KJV)
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

The Three Wise Men

Jesus’s birth is the greatest event to ever take place on earth. For this reason, the three wise men came to worship the Christ child.

Today’s Prayer (12/12/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that we will come in unison this day in singing praise to You. I am in awe just thinking about Your magnificent birth, Jesus. Surely, You came just as scripture states. That You are Emmanuel, which means God with us. Of course, I would have loved to have been around when You were on earth, Jesus, but having Your awesome presence with me now will suffice for now. I just can’t wait till I am able to see You in heaven. On bended knees will I fall down and worship my King. Until then, I wish to proclaim the name of Jesus to every person I know. It is my heart’s desire to help more and more people know about You and Your gospel message of the cross and resurrection. Be with me in these efforts. I cannot go forth and cause anybody to leave behind what is false to come to Your truth without You. I also cannot cause anybody to leave things behind, in order to follow You. My words are meaningless unless You are with me doing the work. Lord, guide me in the ways I should go. Lead me from temptation. I will follow You and not the things of this world. I love You more. In Your Name, I pray, Jesus. Amen.

Matthew 1:21

Matthew 1:21 (KJV)
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Today’s Prayer (12/11/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that each believer in You will at least be given one of the giftings of the Spirit. I know this will mean that their heart is truly for You and not the world. I know many people who are filled with the Holy Spirit and giftings of faith, healing, and tongues are manifested in their lives. This is so awesome to see that a friend in the faith is living their life to serve you. I may have different gifts of the Spirit like faith, healing, and prophecy, but these same gifts are for Your glory also. I simply give You thanks for working in my life and for not withholding the gifts I have now. All I ask, God, is that You use me for Your kingdom. My place in this world is living for You. I want to be used by You and not anything or anybody else. There is structure in my life and my marriage, and the relationship with my wife and kids depends upon this. If I am not seeking You, then there is turmoil, arguments, and fights. But with you in my family’s life, there is peace, joy, and love. Thank You for Lord. All I hope for is that Your Spirit will continue with me and my family. I love You, Jesus. Amen.

1 Corinthians 12:8-10

1 Corinthians 12:8-10 (KJV)
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.

Today’s Prayer (12/10/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that You will continue to come into my life on a daily basis. I don’t need anything that is of the world to be happy, for You satisfy my soul in every fashion of the word. I would be lost without Your presence in my life. So keep me in Your ways, for I am happier when You are leading me than anything else I could ever do. What I want most is to see my family, friends, coworkers, and anybody else I can reach with Your gospel message. Surely, heaven is where joy, peace, and love never ends, and bringing people there with me is what I so desire. It will bring a smile to so many people’s faces when they finally realize what Your kingdom can do for their lives. I believe in You, God. I love You and praise Your Name. Amen.

Today’s Prayer (12/09/2021)

Lord, I often wonder many people are actually saved. People predict that it is in the billions of people that are currently in paradise awaiting to go through the gates of heaven. However, my soul fears that far less people are actually saved than predicted. That because of the lusts of the flesh, people live in darkness while calling themselves Christians. This is so true and I have seen this dozens and dozens of times in my life. Lord, I not only see a very dark generation of people that say they believe but live an entirely different life. People who appear very righteous at church, but outside those walls, they are no different than wicked people in the world. Secret sins rule their lives while calling upon Your Name in all their confessions is hard to find. But this does not have to happen in the long run. I believe that You will do a work in many more people’s lives and save the uttermost. Surely, there are millions of people in heaven from over the centuries, but this is because the Holy Spirit has set so many rivals in people’s lives. But where are these revivals today, God? Wake people up from their sleep into knowing You as their Lord and Savior. I believe in You. I trust in You, God. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Galatians 5:17

Galatians 5:17 (KJV)
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Today’s Prayer (12/08/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that You will lead me in everything I do. The enemy is so crafty in his evil temptations, but denying those temptations and living for You is so much more valuable. Each time I say no to the devil, I feel so much better afterward. It is so good to know that You helped me resist the lust and covetousness that was put in my heart. I did not quench the Holy Spirit that is in me. Praise God. As Your people, we are Your light in this darkened world. Although this world is dark, we are capable of lighting it up because You are with us. Thank You, Lord. What I want in my life is more of You and less of me. I thirst for one thing and that is Your wisdom for me. I hunger for one thing and that is what You can do for me. Teach me, God, and show me things that I need to know and do in this life and the next. My treasures are in heaven and not on earth, which only fade away over time. But don’t do a work just in and through me, but in the life of my wife and my two daughters. Give them clean hands and a pure heart as You have done for me. Wash us through Your blood, Jesus. We look to You in faith and pray that You will lead us safely home to heaven as a family one day. I love You. Amen.
