Mary rejoiced, for she was of child of the most High God. She could not contain the love within her heart. She felt blessed among all woman and gave praise to God. She magnified the Lord for she was only a maidservant and God picked her to give birth to the King of kings. This was the day that would soon usher in the Savior of the world. She could feel His love within her with each kick. The Holy Spirit opened her eyes and she could see the mercies of the Lord. How the proud would be scattered but how the lowly of heart would be exalted. She saw the future of the reign of Jesus on earth. How He would feed all those that are hungry but how the rich would be found empty. All of these things are true. Jesus has the power to forgive all those that have fallen in sin. All that come until Him will forever be “in remembrance of his mercy”. The Lord’s kingdom is for all people that believe in Him.
How blessed is Mary among women. She was a chosen vessel to bring forth the Son of God. Her story was of amazing love for her Son Jesus. Her Son was to reign forevermore. His Kingdom would have no end. My heart sings out in praise for the birth of my Savior. I sing hosanna for the light of the world was born for mankind. From this day forward all generations will be blessed. Come and see what the Lord has done for us. Partake of His goodness and grace. Oh God, I rejoice in Your marvelous work. Thank You for sending down Your only Son to free us from sin. Jesus’s birth brings new light to all those that have fallen. He brings good news to all those that are in bondage. We have reason to hope for a better day. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. I am forever grateful to have this new life. My hope is in Your promises. I love You and honor You. I bless Your holy Name.
Luke 1:46-55 (KJV)
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
