Let us be bold in sharing the gospel of Jesus to the world. In all things seek the Lord’s wisdom and He will help you know what to say. When we are striving to live for Jesus, people will notice and question us. It’s in these times that it is important to seek the Lord’s counsel in prayer and not our own. He knows each of us and our needs. If people reject the truth don’t let that keep you down for out of the many you teach there will still be few that come to Jesus. Stand and proclaim that He lives. There is no one like our God. Speak with boldness. When Jesus is our shield there is no fear. When people confront your beliefs do you stand up for Jesus or do you back down? Seek to do good and to serve the Lord. We follow Him because we are His children.
I love declaring God’s word to people. Many times I am at restaurants and I feel an impression to make conversation with someone. The Spirit guides in what to say. Each of these times I’ve felt the urge to speak of Jesus. As He directs I share His love from the Bible. There were times in the past that I was afraid to share the truth with others. I’d get promptings to speak to someone but I wouldn’t head it. Occasionally I felt ashamed because of how I was living and didn’t think I was worthy to speak of His Name. Now I know that the Lord is so forgiving and as long as we continue to seek Him He will have mercy on us. I am no longer ashamed of the love I feel inside. My life is to serve the Lord. I am honored and blessed to follow my Savior.
3 John 1:5,6,9-11
5 Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers,
6 who have borne witness of your love before the church.
9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us.
10 Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church.
11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.
