My question is, if you feel like the love in your marriage is over or dormant right now, wouldn’t it be great if those trying times were over?
If we are seeking God and allowing His love into our lives, then we will love as He loves. However, our own love is temporary and does not make a lasting difference in a person’s life.
As we are called by Jesus to “abide in me, and I in you”, the more we do so, the more we will walk in His good works.
Every person that neglects their opportunity to repent is wicked. They will be judged and be found guilty.
I hope you have learned from Cain’s mistake, in order to know how to respond to doing God’s will, even when other people may be producing more fruit.
Our belief in God is the first step of following Him. Our openness to God allows Him to pour into us and give us wisdom.
Many people have come to Jesus for healing but it was their faith that healed them. One such man was a man, sick of the palsy.
To continue to do our yown things and not be led by God is evil in the sight of God. This is denying His hand in your life and because of this, His wrath is upon you until you repent.
Please understand that “riches profit not in the day of wrath.” Why build up a life of wealth and security for this life, when it will all, one day, come to dust?
I was raised in a specific church family with specific values. For many years, I thought I was on the right path.
Though we can’t see the divinity of God, He empowers us to do mighty things, through Him. We can’t even imagine the power and might of our God.
David taught that those that love God “go from strength to strength”. They may have been shy in certain areas but God gives them boldness.
Many things we are attached to in life are idols and must be forsaken to be in His will. Look at the second commandment, for instance.
Being led by God is much different than being led by your own self and hoping or thinking you are saved.
