It is true that we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ and in Him alone. Nothing else in this world can save us, but only lead us on the path of destruction. This belief in Jesus, our Lord, will save you from death and unto life eternal, when all is set and done. It was even taught this by Paul, when he said, 4“for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:8-10) However, as was spoken of good works, this faith of ours will also be fruitful because God is working through us now, otherwise, we are only carrying around with us dead faith. And why do we live our lives for the Lord? It is because we are commanded to do so, if we were to truly believe. Jesus said, 2“thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30,31) Now, if you are paying attention to what Jesus taught here, He commands us is to give Him our whole heart, our soul and mind to doing His will, and not our own. By doing this, we will also love one another as we love Him. As we do this, we won’t help but obey all God’s ten commandments, for they are rolled up into these two. So the question is, do you love Jesus enough to obey Him? Jesus did teach us, 3“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15) This is important to understand, for only those that do love Him, also have true faith in Him also. This is the kind of faith that saves.
If you say you love Jesus, then obey Him also. Then will your faith be on full display and you will become a light unto the Lord in this darken world. Now the question is, should you ever let this light go dim and just live part of your life for Jesus? Of course not. This is because salvation is determined by our faith that endures. Jesus taught this also when He said, 1“and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:12,13) This means that when we desire to follow Jesus, it doesn’t mean that we can just live for Him for a time and then do our own things. This is giving up on God and He will not allow such a person to enter heaven, but certainly thrust them in the lake of fire, if they died in this fashion. This is called losing your salvation. So it is true faith which produces fruits also and endures. These fruits come to fruition when we love God and our neighbor. Even our salvation is based on if we were faithful to God or not. I mention this, since Jesus said, 5“he that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” (Revelation 22:11-14) If you desire to be saved and have eternal life one day, then have faith in Christ. This is a fruitful life, because You were obedient to God. Your ticket to heaven is stamped by faith in Jesus, my friends. Trust in Him.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will make an effort to live out their life in faith for You, and not just say they have faith when approached by somebody. It is fine if these questions wake them up to follow You, but I wish that people would desire themselves to have the kind of faith that produces works. Then, can the Holy Spirit come inside of them and lead them to do what is right in this darken world. Otherwise, we are only producing works of wickedness and not righteousness, which I pray that I may do, every day of my life. Yes Lord, as much as I wish to always be seeking You and producing fruits that are meet for repentance and obey Your commandments, I wish that many more people would be saved also. It is not my desire to lead myself to salvation alone, but to lead many more souls unto You, God. People are precious in Your sight, and I wish to give enlightenment to as many people as I can, that they may come to know You personally. Help me draw people unto You for salvation . And put inside people’s hearts a desire to live out their entire life for Your cause. Truly, Satan wants to take us down and put us under his control, while making us think that we have time to live out our fleshly desires and just come back to You later. This is such a lie, for millions of people have died in this fashion, while forgoing their chance to repent and be saved. So it is my desire, Lord, that people would wake up to their sins today, and turn to You for help. Only You can set a person free from our bad habits, addictions and any other type of sin and shame. You are our deliverer and I trust in You, Jesus. May I always give You the praise and honor that You deserve. I love You more than life itself. For this reason do I love and obey You. I am Yours and You are mine. Amen.

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
