It Is Wise To Follow Jesus

This new way of life, through Christ Jesus, helps us know what is good and what is evil. Because the Bible is so plain about these things, we are able to better choose what is right.

Are You Foolish Or Wise?

The Lord gives us the peace we need to carry on. He ushers in gladness into our hearts, though times can be hard.

Proverbs 15:9-11

9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

Righteous Versus Wicked Person

There are different destinations for a person that lives in the ways of the world and a person that lives in the ways of the Lord God.

Do Not Deny God’s Counsel

To continue to do our yown things and not be led by God is evil in the sight of God. This is denying His hand in your life and because of this, His wrath is upon you until you repent.

Proverbs 11:8-10

8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
10 When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

Obey The Commandments And Obtain Life

Please understand that “riches profit not in the day of wrath.” Why build up a life of wealth and security for this life, when it will all, one day, come to dust?

The Wicked And The Righteous

Now let’s look at the righteous of God. “A wise son maketh a glad father.” When our children obey and respect their parents there is much joy.

Gifts Of The Spirit

It is so important that we repent and get right with God. This way, we can be used by Him and do His will. And how can we do God’s will?
