First hell and then the lake of fire for all idolaters that do not repent. So let’s consider those in Mormonism to see if these people fit this category. First of all, they believe in exaltation to godhood, which is idolatry. There is only one God. They Believe in multiple gods, which is idolatry. The way they worship Joseph Smith is idolatry (Praise to the man). Just read the lyrics to that song and you will see how Mormons worship Joseph Smith. Their golden calves and angels on their temples are idols. Paintings and carvings of Jesus, the Father, Joseph Smith, and others is idolatry. We are told by God to not make carvings of anything in heaven above or the earth. Their temples have become an idol to them. “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.” (Exodus 20:4,5) Since Mormons go against what God says in these commandments, that makes them an idolater.
Jesus said “thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” (Matthew 4:10) When Mormons praise and worship Joseph Smith this is utter blasphemy and blasphemes God. Every Mormon who believes they will be exalted to Godhood, the Bible puts this false belief to rest also. “Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God.” (Ezekiel 28:2) Surely, Mormons are considered idolaters in God’s sight and will be judged in this fashion. Just look at how they idolize Joseph Smith. Speaking of these people, they appear very religious on the outside, but God knows their heart is not for Him. it is written, “but the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8) Mormons need to leave their cult behind for Jesus while they still have time, or the lake of fire is their destination. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that the Mormon church will be no more. That this cult will crumble and fall before our very eyes. Even in my lifetime, I’d love to see this happen. I am sick and tired of these wicked people deceiving people. I often wonder why cults like this still exist and now I am starting to understand why. Your people and even pastors are scared to speak out against them. It would be awesome if more churches warned their congregation about these cultists. Then they would not let them in their homes unless they were ready to share the gospel. We don’t need baby Christians led astray and into this false religion. Their teachings sound good on paper but are so wicked when compared to the Bible. How is it that people cannot see this, God? The very fact that these Mormons believe in exaltation to godhood is why we shouldn’t let them talk about their faith with us unless we are witnessing to them. I love these people but know that hell awaits unless they leave Mormonism for good. Help more people make this decision for Your sake. I believe in You, Jesus. I love you. Amen.
