Today we spent the first part of the day at the University of Utah. This is where we were able to be the most productive when it comes to passing out tracts, as they were very receptive. We both stood on different parts of the walkway and talked to people, along with giving out a gospel tract. It was so fun seeing the people read the tract as they passed by us. I cannot even remember people throwing them away, which is amazing. In total, we must have passed out a couple hundred tracts. The people were so grateful for what they received. Only a few people saw the tracts and said no thank you, but again, most people were very receptive. Later that day we made it to the train depot near salt lake city mall. This is when we saw Jehovah’s witnesses set up with their booth. It was there that Patrick and I reasoned with them about God. How Jesus is God, based on many passages from the Bible that we were using. This lady kept saying I will never change my viewpoint, which showed her hard heart. She claimed that Jesus is not God, but the son of God only. Even though I kept showing her verse after verse where it says Jesus is God. Even Jesus said He is the, “I AM”, which is God, they wouldn’t believe it.
“Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.” (John 8:58,59)
Later that day, I told Patrick that I wanted to go into the LDS Church Museum. This was to take pictures and later them in future messages on Mormonism. And so I began to take many pictures, having people think I was interested. We also saw the Joseph Smith 9 versions of the first vision film. The supposed Jesus in the film was just harping on the Christians of the world, and being very negative. Saying they don’t have the truth, but that He will raise up His church through Joseph instead. While at the museum, I got every bit of evidence I could use against this false prophet in the form of pictures. As you will see in later messages, these pictures will be used to expose Joseph Smith as a false prophet and the Mormon Church, as being of the devil. After this, we went back to the train depot, at the city creek mall, where we met up with Adam and Eric, a homeless man. There, we both preached. I preached from “God’s Message To You” and Patrick preached on how there is a way that is right in the sight of men but in the end leads to death, which is from the Bible. This was a wonderful day in God’s harvest. If only I could tell you everything that happened, but that is not possible. To God be the glory. Amen.
