There is a new beginning for each of you and it begins with the cross. Because Jesus “died unto sin”, we have forgiveness and mercy. Through His resurrection, those in Christ “liveth unto God”. Look to Jesus for salvation. Through His sacrifice over sins we are promised eternal life if we believe in Him. If you take His hand He will do wondrous things in your life. It all starts when you put your trust in Jesus. When you give your lives to Him, your “old life is dead with Christ”. “Our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed”. We are no longer in the likeness of the world but “in the likeness of his resurrection”. Our bodies no longer need the effects of sin to give us temporary satisfaction. We do “not serve sin” for we find our fullness in Christ. This journey in life is full of blessings from the heavens. For Jesus is among us. The Holy Spirit testifies of Him and when the Spirit is near we can feel His holy presence. In our hearts, we know that He is alive. The Lord is alive and lives in everyone that believes in Him. Those in Christ are redeemed in His blood. They are washed clean from all their wickedness. Give thanks, this day, for the cross. It is because of Jesus that you are saved in heaven. We could never get to heaven on our own. For this Jesus stepped in and paid our debts that our chains would be broken. There is no more prison but paradise with God Almighty. Hallelujah, for Jesus came for us.

Because Jesus died for me, I have life. My old life is dead with Christ. Through Him I am made alive forever. A fire has been set in my heart that cannot be contained. I can feel His love all around me. When I walk, He is there. When I fall, He picks me up. His hand stops the arrows of the evil one from penetrating my heart. I can flee temptation because the Lord is with me. As I seek Jesus, I am safe. He is my guiding light in the darkness we live in. Jesus is my strength. Thank You Lord for changing my life. It be because of Your sacrifice on the cross that I am made free from my wickedness. I stumbled and failed miserably for many years. I never thought I could be forgiven but You still came for me. In my tears You sat by me. You wiped away all my sorrows. When I thought of Your sacrifice for my sins I was pierced to the soul. I thought of all You had to suffer that I might be forgiven. Oh, how merciful are You, Oh Lord. How amazing is Your grace. Though, I had walked in sin so long, You changed me. As I gave my life to You, I died in You. Because You are alive, I am resurrected with You. I feel different inside. I live no longer for myself but for others. Your Spirit has helped turn my love towards my neighbor. I could have never done this without You. Your love is so amazing that I could never keep to myself. I want to tell all the world that there is hope in You. You are the Savior of mankind. I love You.

Romans 6:5-10 (KJV)
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

My life is dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus to the world. I love the Lord and want everyone to feel the same love. I would feel awful if I kept His joy to myself. For this I write daily devotionals to lead people to Christ. Jesus is the anchor of my soul.
