Make Time For The Lord

The more we seek the Lord our desire to follow Him will increase. As we make time for Him we will have a renewed focus on what’s most important. Reading the Bible will bring us great joy. Every word will come to life as we read. When the Lord speaks to us we will listen. We will take heed to His counsel that we may know what He has in store for us. Alone time with the Lord in prayer will be sought after. We will desire to give Him thanks for all His blessings. We are His humble servant and lift up our King in praise. When the world tries to tempt us the Lord will be our shield. He will give us strength to overcome sin. Addictions won’t find a place in our lives for we have filled it with God’s will. Obeying His commandments will just be part of our nature. We follow Him because we love Him. We hear His voice and do as the Lord commands for we trust in Him.

Take a look at yourself.  Are you making time for the Lord?  Is your heart in it for God?  The more you seek Him the more time in the day you will have for Him.  A relationship with Jesus will be made in prayer.  His Word will be a refuge in your lives.  As He leads you, follow Him.  His ways are true and brings eternal happiness.  Love as Jesus loves us.  Obey His commandments and you will be blessed immensely.  The Lord blesses those that follow Him.  Your homes will be blessed.  Your family will be watched over.  He will poor out His Spirit in your life.  He will be with you wherever you go.  The Lord is so kind.  His promises are true for all that seek Him.  We are free indeed in the Lord.  All of His faithful have no need to fear death for they are granted eternal life.  They will enjoy everlasting happiness in His Father’s Kingdom.  I long to one day be with the Lord.

Deuteronomy 28:1-6
1 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
