Wherever I may be, I will proclaim the Name of Jesus with whomever I am with. It is so important to know that He died for our sins, was buried, and then rose from the grave. This is vital to understand and know as a Christian. It is good news that Jesus came as a Lamb to the slaughter, in order to pay the penalty for our sins on the cross. People may not like to teach on the cross, but without it, there would be no forgiveness for sins. Jesus opened the doors to heaven for us the moment He was raised up on a cross and bore our transgressions. It is written, “moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:1-3) The penalty for sins was paid for on the cross by our Lord, Jesus Christ. To teach anything else is another gospel.
Jesus died on the cross and was buried in Joseph of Arimathea’s tomb. He laid there until the third day had come. This is when the Lord rose from the grave. And it wasn’t just a few people that saw Him, but countless other people also. Just read the verses below and find out the truth. It is important to know that Jesus “was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.” (1 Corinthians 15:4-8) People can deny that Jesus rose from the grave, but that doesn’t mean that He didn’t. There have been many eyewitnesses of Jesus since that time and now. I am one of those people who have seen Jesus and also heard Him speak to me. Jesus is God and is alive. One day He will return and take His true believers home. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will come to understand what You have done for us on the cross. Because You are a spotless Lamb that came to the slaughter on Calvary, our sins can be forgiven. Thank You for dying for my sins on the cross. I accept that sacrifice and pray that You will have mercy upon me. I need Your forgiveness and mercy in order to go on in life. This life is a vapor, but in heaven, there will be an eternity spent with You, Lord. I can’t wait for the day that I finish this life and am raised up into paradise. Many people fear death, but there is no fear for those who are ready. You know that amount of years and days I have left. Help me to live it out fully surrendered to You. To have faith that is unto salvation until my last breath. You are the one true God in the heavens above. Any other god is a false god, of which needs to be rooted out of people’s lives to be saved. Lord, shine brightly upon and through me. I pray that more people will come to true faith in You, Jesus, and be saved. I love You, Lord. Lead me now and all the rest of my days. I trust in You. I give You praise. Amen.
