The Lord God revealed unto Isaiah that many people would soon fall and stumble, because of the wickedness that has consumed their lives. This is because they did not have a testimony of God, to lead them on the right path. Because they did not seal His laws and commands on their hearts, they would give way to do many whoredoms, in the sight of God. And in all their wickedness, God’s wrath was upon them. And how were these people being led, if not by God? Well, by evil spirits that were on a mission. It was these demonic forces that led these people into dark paths. Therefore, the people looked to witches and wizards for answers, instead of God. Though these people masqueraded like a person that knew their future and such, it was only lies. Satan uses such people, in order to deceive people and lead them away from the one true God. There is no light in such people but only darkness. And what is sad is when people are accustomed to the darkness, they see no issue in it, until it is too late. They are also hard of hearing, when evangelists and prophets, like Isaiah, come and speak the truth to them. Instead of listening, they ridicule them and often hurt the messengers of God. Persecution rages, but to Isaiah, the Lord said, 1“neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.” They may try to hurt the people of God, and even kill them, but such workers have no fear. Why is this? Because their salvation is secure in Christ Jesus. What happens to them in this life, for the sake of the Lord, Jesus, is not important. It is only their desires and God’s desire that seeds are planted and that many more souls are brought into God’s kingdom, through their efforts.
Listen to what the Lord God spoke through Isaiah, concerning people that are lost. It says, 1“when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?” Think about this for a minute? This is the message of God, for all people that are in this world. He says, why do you give yourself over to people who often lie and deceive, when God is ready to help you and give you wise counsel that you need? Why put your trust in the things of this world that will soon shrivel up and turn to dust one day? Your desires, in such things, will only fail you, if it is not in God. These people that 1“speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” I know that you don’t see this, if you are one of them, He says. But if you humble yourself a little and seek me for answers than you shall find the joy, peace and love that truly matters. What’s best is that these things never end, in me. Yes, God desires to speak to the lost and lead them from darkness and into His light. Unfortunately, His ways don’t normally matter to people, so most of them end up living out their own lives instead. In regards to such people, Isaiah said, 1“when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward. And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.” This is the point where brokenness sets in. They can either get upset or turn to God. The Lord is the answer to their troubles, but they must understand this first, in order to be saved.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will turn to You before it is too late. May they seek You when brokenness finally sets into their hearts. When these people are finally sick and tired of all their shame and people deceiving them, will they finally look to You for answers? And if not so right away, I pray that You will use somebody to reach them, in order to show them the way. I know how it is to live a life of guilt and being so upset with all the people that hurt me. I had a chance to make matters worse or look to You for answers. And I am so happy that I made the right decision, that day. The lusts of the flesh may have been peaked at this time in my life, but it never lasted. I did not want to go another day with not having control over myself and my actions. I knew that evil spirits had a hold of my life and I wanted to be set free. And God, I knew that nobody could do such a work but You. You were the only person I could go to for not only answers but for a miracle, as well. I needed healing in my life, not only for sicknesses, but also for my brokenness and all my sins. I needed an awakening to do what is right and that is what You did for me. Your presence came over me and gave me the peace I needed. Then, once I knew that You still loved me and have even forgiven me, I was so amazed. Thank You God. I was lost but You found me. You brought light back into my life. There is true joy that accompanies my life now and it is because of You. Thank You Jesus. I love You. Amen.
