It is very sad that we live in such a wicked world. It is like people don’t even know what sin is even more and that the lines of what is right and what is wrong have been crossed. Not too long ago, homosexuality was frowned upon, abortion was illegal, and porn was monitored very tightly, lest people became too involved. Even those in the faith knew that hanging out in the bars and drinking was wrong but now, drinking is not even spoken of very often. Surely, if you are not reading the Bible daily, it would be hard to decipher what is good in this world. This is why our hearts and minds need to be sober minded and living for God. It would be very foolish of us to justify our wicked deeds and be found putting down those that are doing what is right. Solomon also said, 1“he that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.” We need to be careful for those that are abominable in God’s sight have no place in heaven. This includes false teachers. Even some pastors are leading people astray by not speaking on different sins. Instead of condemning what is wrong, as the Bible teaches, and leading people to repentance, these people skip over these verses. And therefore, help people become more comfortable in their wicked lifestyle, that God hates. There will be a price on the heads of these wicked men, for leading their flock of believers astray, unto paths of destruction. Evil men and women of this world will be accountable for leading God’s children astray. This includes not teaching on sin but instead teachings the doctrines of men.
There are many people that think they are doing God’s will but are really leading people astray. Many of these same people do not even teach on obeying God’s commandments. What has happened to the world we live in and even churches? I’ll tell you what the cause is. People are deceived by Satan. He has caused them to not see how sin offends God and to not even care about their actions. It isn’t until good pastors speak out against this wickedness, is when hearts are convicted and drawn to repentance. 5However, because easy grace is taught and works is shunned, in other churches, people feel like entering heaven is easy. They can just believe in Jesus and be saved. God’s blood has already covered them. This is so false. Here is the reason. 8God does care about our faith plus works. And sin, he despises. That includes the practice of 6homosexuality, 7abortion, 2pornography, and 9hanging out at bars, along with drinking to get drunk. There is a requirement to enter heaven and you’d be surprised what it is. The key is our obedience to God’s commandments. Jesus said, 3“if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” This is referring to entering heaven and having access to the tree of life. John even spoke about this, when he said, 10“blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Think about it. Why would Jesus allow you in, if you do not love Him. Jesus said, 4“if ye love me, keep my commandments.” Do you love Jesus and want to go to heaven? If so, read the Bible, understand God’s laws and keep His commandments.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am so saddened to see how wicked this world has become. So many things are now considered OK by the world’s standards when these same things were once shunned. It is disheartening to see so many people now in favor of the homosexual lifestyle and how it is hardly ever spoken against in churches. It is also sickening to see millions of babies die every year and not hear one sermon on how killing unborn babies is evil. And even worse, porn is so prevalent in this generation. Because it is no longer hard to gain access to, even people in the faith are tied up with it. What has happened to this generation Lord. Why is it that people are justifying their wicked deeds? Why is it that people go out drinking and don’t even think twice? These things bring me to tears. I do not even know what to say but wicked, wicked, wicked are the people in this world. Please come Lord and wake up the people in the faith. Lead them on Your path of righteousness. May they come out of darkness, once and for all, and serve You, my King. Come and convict the hearts of the wicked, that they may repent and be made right in Your sight. I believe in You. I trust in You, Jesus. Amen.

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
