Righteous Versus Wicked Person

There is a huge difference in the life of the righteous and the life of the wicked. In this message, I will simply mention a few of these things that will help a person know what path they are on. It is important to know how we stand before God, lest we be found guilty on judgement day. Please know that a person’s righteousness is decided by God and not man. That is why we must humble ourselves and have an open heart to God’s message. This way, God will be able to do a work inside of us and open our eyes to the truth. 2This truth will set us free. Your faith will then grow and your desires to share God’s truth will increase. Come to the Lord with a willingness to learn and grow. Allow Him to change any wicked way inside of you. Read the Bible and have the Lord in your thoughts and prayers. This way, you will more easily speak kindly to one another and seek the knowledge, that only He gives. This is very important, as many people seek knowledge in all the wrong places. Here are just a few differences between a righteous person and a wicked person.

1. A righteous person stirs up good conversation that uplifts one another, while the wicked argue, in order to get their point across, though it may cause another to be angry.
Solomon said, 1“a soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”
2. A righteous person seeks after what is true and uses that knowledge, while a wicked person seeks their own wisdom and speaks what is foolish.
Solomon said, 1“the tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.” 1“The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.”
3. A righteous person understand that repentence is necessary, in order for change to occur, while the wicked is closed off to reproof, when it pertains to their way of life.
Solomon said, 1“a fool despiseth his father’s instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.” 1“Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.”

There are different destinations for a person that lives in the ways of the world and a person that lives in the ways of the Lord God. Solomon taught, 1“a wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.” The tree of life is for every person that God calls righteous in judgement. These are those that go to heaven. However, every person that is found foolish and wicked in judgement will have their place in hell. This is because, 1“the way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness,” as Solomon taught. What is evil cannot even enter the kingdom of God. Solomon taught, 1“in the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.” 3The Lord has many mansions for His righteous believers. And because, 1“the eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good”, as Solomon taught, it is very important to get right with God today.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, please help me to show kindness and love towards one another. If there is any intent to argue with one another, please rid this wickedness from my heart. May I speak, in order to uplift one another and no longer to tear down. May my heart be knit with Your love. Help me to seek what is righteous and holy above every wicked way. My heart is open to Your truth. Give me understanding, oh Lord. Speak counsel to my life and reprove me when I am in the wrong. I am sorry that I did not receive this wisdom in the past, but I need it now. I know that my own ways are not Your ways. For that reason, I ask that You take my heart and transform me by the Holy Spirit. Cleanse me, oh Lord, of all my sins. I need Your blood to cover me, that I may walk in Your ways. If there is correction needed, speak this truth to my heart now. I desire to follow You and no longer fall into temptation. I trust in You, Lord. I love You. Amen.
