I am grateful for this night. I was so anxious to get out on the streets and preach the Word of God and knew that God would do something amazing tonight. So after praying with some other believers, we all went out to witness for Jesus. It was an honor to pray for the homeless. Many of them are in distress and are just needing a person that will listen. So after offering them water and trail mix I shared the gospel and then prayed. I am grateful for their faith in God and to spend some time with them. God be praised. Shortly after talking with these wonderful people, I took out my Bible and started preaching from Matthew 19. As I lifted up the Bible I encouraged everyone to read it daily for it is the Word of God. Then I began to teach about a man who desired eternal life. What Jesus said is important, 2“Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” He started off with something that most people totally disregard but is so important in our relationship with the Lord. Jesus taught, 5“If ye love me, keep my commandments”. Jesus asks the same thing to us all but most people continue living a life contrary to Him. They would rather live a life for themselves in idolatry. Lifting up anything above Jesus, including cell phones and TV is idolatry, if we spend more time with it then God. People in our day, would rather live a life of sin. Many find pleasure in their lust, through pornography. However, Jesus teachers, 1“whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” Every time someone commits this sexual sin they are committing adultery.
The Bible teaches that 6“fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” 4It is so important to not walk in the flesh but walk in the Spirit. 4Only people that are born again, in the spirit, will enter heaven. As I taught these things, swarms of adults and teenagers started listening and some were questing me on the things I taught. One person asked me why I call out sinners when Jesus loves us all. My answer is that Jesus loves us so much as to die for us. 3He calls all sinners to repentance. It is not me judging one another but the Holy Spirit, through the words of the Bible. I am only the messenger of God, here to deliver what the Bible teaches. This man began to tell me all he was doing for Christ and I told him it is no competition. But at the same time, we cannot have one foot in the world and another with Jesus. If sin is in our lives we must be willing to give it all to Him. When the Lord Jesus spoke to the man who wanted eternal life, he first asked him if he loved him by obeying His commandments and He did. The next question, comes after that, 2“If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.” If we are following God’s commandments then we are also loving one another, including the poor and afflicted and following Him. If we say we love God but don’t help the homeless then His love is not in us. We can discover the greatest love of all by praying often and reading the Bible daily. Idolatry will creep in our lives if we aren’t living for God each day. May the Lord be with you all.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I know that what I can do in this life is meaningless if You are not with me. Each time I put You aside and do the things of this flesh, my life is in shambles. My life is filled with shame and guilt when sin abides. Lord, I understand the importance of living for You. I ask that You help tear out of my heart any idols. Anything that is above You, take it out of my lives. I want to live in Your commandments. Help me control the lusts of the flesh. Keep me away from even the appearance of sexual sin. I know where it has taken me in the past and I do not wish to go back. I know that You took me from a life of sin and brought me into Your glorious light. Through the blood, which was shed on the cross, I am born again in the Spirit. Truly, anyone living in idolatry, adultery or fornication is missing out on a life of true joy. Lord, You bring me love that never ends. I just pray that more people will open their hearts to You. I pray that people would desire to read the Bible daily. Help people put You first and pray often. You are worth living for. I love You. Amen.

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
3Luke 5:31,32 (KJV)
31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
4John 3:1-7,15-21 (KJV)
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
5John 14:14-21 (KJV)
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
61 Corinthians 6:9-11 (KJV)

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
