When asking people about heaven or hell, most people want to go to heaven. However, why is it, that the only time they think about this question is when someone else brings it up? Why do people think about death, when questioned, but do nothing to stop where they are going? If we have to be questioned about our sinful lifestyle and not be aware of it on our own then there is more trouble than we even know of. You should not have to be asked without already knowing that you a are sinner and need God’s grace to free you from bondage. 1If you have heard about the cross of Jesus and what He can do for your life, but do nothing with that knowledge, then you are on the wide road to hell. If someone comes to you and, in that moment, you are awakened to the gospel message of Jesus, respond to God’s calling. No longer live for the flesh but in for the Spirit of God. You may have no power on your own to defeat the temptations of the devil, but with the power of God, in your life, you can do all things. He can take a vial sinner, like yourself, and replace it with a heart of love. The question is, will you respond to this message now and repent? You could die tomorrow. 2“Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” May the fear of God bring you from darkness into the light of Christ. Repent! Confess your sins to Jesus and ask for forgiveness. Call upon the Name of Jesus, Now, for salvation!
6There will be a day when everyone will be judged before the Lord, Jesus Christ. He can see the person we are today and the person we can become. 4If you have not been born again and continue to walk in the flesh, then your days could be numbered. You could very well die tomorrow and become like the rich man, that Jesus spoke of. This man did not follow Jesus and did not love his neighbor. Many days, Lazarus begged for even a crumb of food but the rich man denied him each time. Death then took both the rich man and the beggar. The rich man, 3“in hell”, lifted 3“up his eyes, being in torments”, while Lazarus was in paradise. Can you imagine, living a life of luxury and the next time you open your eyes it is in hell? How great the pain and suffering is there and the sad thing is, you had a choice to follow Jesus but you put it off. John records, 7“the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.” How great will be their sorrow. The Lord does not wish this punishment on anyone. Our unwillingness to follow Jesus, leads a person to hell. Jesus loves us so much as to take us in and make us white as snow, through His blood, if we allow Him. Those that are covered by the blood of the lamb will be escorted into heaven. 7“God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.” How amazing will it be to live for eternity in heaven with our God.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, wake us up from our deep slumber. 5If anyone is not following Your voice that is reading this message, then cut them inside by way of the Holy Spirit. Awake anyone that is fallowing after the lusts of their flesh to repentance. Help them understand what they are doing is wrong. I know Jesus, that You can restore them, as You have restored my life. People can be rescued from utter darkness into Your light. I believe that You can do all things. I pray that more people will act on the promptings of the Holy Spirit and live a life for You. I know that all things will one day come to an end. But my faith in You, oh Lord, will ever continue. I will ever praise Your Holy Name. I will rejoice in the Lord on High forever. For You Lord, has rescued me from death. Even hell awaited my soul but you snatched me up and pulled me out of the darkness. Lord, I am so grateful for everything You’ve done and continue to do for my life. I give my life to follow You. Shield me from temptation that I might live in Your holiness. May my faith in You be raised. Even to my last breath, I will lift You up. I love You. Amen.
