Doing Good For Those In Need
Today I was watching a video of a friend of mine in Christ, who recently went to Pakistan on a missions trip.
Did the disciples of Christ, in the Bible, believe what Jesus said? Yes, they did. Paul said, “for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
We don’t look down upon others because they are not of the faith. Instead, we show compassion, kindness, and love to everyone.
My soul rejoiceth, for I am no longer dead but alive in Christ the Lord. I give Him all my praise and worship for I am saved.
As Christians, we focus our minds on God and desire His will for our lives always. This way we can be led by the Holy Spirit and do things the way He desires, and not our things.
Husbands, love your wives. Wives, respect your husbands. Find out what the needs are of your spouse and fulfill them.
The early church members are a great example of how a Christian ought to live a life for Christ. When I say ought to, it means desire to live righteously and get off of the path of wickedness.
When Jesus was about to leave this earthly life, He explained to His disciples that He would always be with them.
Oh, that people would have a heart to fear God and keep His commandments in our time as in the past. This is God’s desire for us.
I am so grateful for God’s mercy. Because of the cross, I am forgiven from all my sins. Jesus has cut down the chains of addiction in my life.
Let this be the day that you begin your journey on the Lord’s path. If you are not familiar with the commandments of God, become familiar today.
If your marriage has problems now, because of an unfaithful or unbelieving spouse, know that this can all be fixed with God’s hand in your lives.
If you are not all in for doing God’s will but are still willfully sinning, then God is speaking to you. If you are addicted to pornography, then know that You are an adulterer also, of which people will not inherit the kingdom of God.
As we put our trust in God all things are possible. His promises are true. We can look to Him to find our answers. If we let Him in, He will lead us to our one true love in Christ.
We will receive comfort in death, while in paradise. However, in heaven, there are no more tears, death, sorrow, crying, or pain.
We fulfill the law as we learn to love the Lord and our neighbor as ourselves. Not doing this, we break God’s holy commandments.
Every person that walks apart from God will be in trouble come judgement day. They will hear the words, “I never knew you”.
When we love the Lord Jesus, all of these things become a part of our lives. As we give our lives to Christ, He is able to transform is.
When it comes to having true faith in Christ and walking it out, those that are faithful to the Lord God are the ones that really understand this.
Those in Christ, live for Him. We do not live willfully in sin any longer but do His will and love one another as He loves them.
Job did nothing wrong but made to feel worse by his friend Zophar. Job, chapter 12, is in response to him.
Where is holiness in people’s lives? It seems like less people desire God to make them holy and pure in His sight. Instead, sin abounds and darkness remains.
When speaking of the good Samaritan, Jesus tells us “Go and do likewise”. Listen to His words for they hold the keys to eternal life in heaven.
Think of the joy you would be able to feel if sin wasn’t tearing you down. It is the weight of our sins that burden us.
Many things we are attached to in life are idols and must be forsaken to be in His will. Look at the second commandment, for instance.
Lift your hands high and worship the Lord. Sing out in joyous praises to Jesus, our Savior. Allow your love to come out.
There is a reason why men and women get married and start a family on their own. It is not just because they love each other, but because this is how it was meant to be from the beginning of time.
When we continue to put our trust in God and lean on Him in all situations of our lives, everything tends to work out for the greater good.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh.
