God Leads Us Into The Ultimate Truth

“Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psalms 119:128-130)

It is important to seek out what is true and faithful in this life. This can be found in the Bible. God’s Word contains the truth, and it is good to know what He says. Abiding by His teachings leads to life eternal. We learn to abstain from anything that appears to be evil. Even to the point of hating every false way. God has spoken the truth through different people in the Bible. You may see this book as an ancient text and not useful for our time, but it still speaks to us and our lives when we read it. People search for enlightenment from various people, but they can only find parts of truth or evil depending on the source. Do you want to be found with knowledge that could be false, or know the actual truth from God? Only God has the ultimate truth. Therefore, it is good to be a seeker of truth and go down the right paths to find it. Come to Jesus and He will give you true wisdom.

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” (John 16:12-14)

The ultimate truth comes from the Holy Spirit. You heard that right. We can find the actual truth from God, Himself. This comes through prayer and Bible study. Know that the Bible is God’s witness to man through the power of the Holy Spirit in us. We are led into all truth as we abide in the Spirit. This is when Jesus is able to lead us by the hand. What happens when you allow God to do this? We are not given over to every false way. What appears to be false is made evident, so we don’t go down that path. And if we are already on a destructive path, God can see our humble heart and lead us swiftly from it and to Him. It also means that temptation is not able to overtake us. So when we are tried and tested, we can find the strength to say, “No”, to the enemy. Our flesh is weak, but in the Spirit we are made strong to rest the devil. Come to Jesus, and you will be led to all truth. Amen.
