Preaching On Reading The Bible
We are so blessed to be led by the God of the heavens. I asked the people to cherish every day that they have to read it and pray to God often.

One gentlemen stood there listening to the preaching, so I approached him. I asked if he was a follower of Jesus. His response was that he was Mormon.
If we are following God’s commandments then we are also loving one another, including the poor and afflicted and following Him.
As Jesus said, “the sheep follow him: for they know his voice”, I began to ask people if they follow Jesus. Do they know His voice and follow Him?
Jesus taught, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The lives we are living outside of Christ will never save us.
The next lady we talked to had just received a pizza delivery. Upon meeting her, we asked if we could pray for anything specific.
The seeds we plant through evangelism are so necessary. Even these gospel tracts I passed out tonight are important in reaching the lost.
As Chris and I decided to go out in faith and share the love of Jesus, doors opened up to us very quickly. Each person we asked to pray over, accepted prayer.
So many seeds were planted and lives were changed because God opened the doors. The Lord has done great things through me simply because I was willing and open to His counsel.
I want to share an awesome experience that I had tonight, while in the service of God. Some things happen by chance and other things happen because God wills it.
Paul said, “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” It is true that when we abide in the love of God that our shield of faith is raised.
Your promises, Jesus, make me whole. I trust that You can do all things in my life. For you “restoreth my soul” and “leadeth me in the paths of righteousness.”
Preaching God’s word has helped grow my faith. Talking with others in the faith helped my love for God mature even more so.
This evening was surely a gift from God. Its purpose was to listen to others. Lend an ear and bear each other’s burdens.
Walking through the festival you could feel an eerie feeling inside. These people are truly in need of the Lord in their lives. They are so lost and don’t even realize it.
Even if one person’s life was given over to the Lord then there was victory. So many people’s lives were impacted tonight, one way or another, in so little time.
Each of us poured out our hearts to God. I thanked God for His mercy. I thanked the Lord for giving these people open hearts to talk to us.
As Keven and I were standing by this bar, a women was looking out the window from upstairs. Upon looking at her, I waved a gospel tract at her.
After this wonderful encounter, I had the privilege to pray with a gentlemen that has a concussion. He also didn’t have a Bible so I gave him one.
Our next home was Victor’s. Tonight we had Chase with us and he was excited to meet him. Upon knocking on the door, Victor came outside and was surprised to see us.
One gentlemen I spoke with was Don. We must have talked for about a half hour about Jesus. He is seeking the Lord and trying to break free of his smoking addiction.
The second experience was life changing. Upon knocking on Victor’s door we were delighted to introduce ourselves to him.
Next, I met a gentleman, named Don, that was sick of living a life alone from God. He had walked in sin long enough and wanted to make things right, once and for all.
As the night went on we met many homeless that were ripe for the harvest and to receive Jesus. They were each going through hard times but knew that God could give them strength.
Know that if the Bible is teaching something contrary to your faith than there is something wrong with it and not the Book.
As our night continued, many people were prayed over. One man needed prayers for his wife that had cancer and himself who was sick.
After leaving the nursing home, I headed to downtown Boise to share the good news of Good Friday to the people.
Those in the faith of Jesus Christ are part of His body. We are all made up in the body of Christ and not a church building.
Continuing our walk this night, we stumbled upon this man who last week we prayed over his hand, since it was in a lot of pain.
We encouraged these people to go church and listen to what their friend has to say about Jesus. That He is the way and we are only His messengers.
We encouraged a group of teenagers to seek Jesus for He is the only way to salvation. There eyes were glued on us as they listened intently.
