There is one type of translation that is wicked above them all and that is Paraphrase. This type of translation is nowhere close to the original, nor does it claim to. Instead, it is what the person interjects into a Biblical manuscript of their choice. Therefore, important verses become doctrines of men as certain beliefs make their way into the Biblical text. Therefore, translations like this should be thrown out, which include the CEV, CPG, GNB, GNT, ISV, NCV, NIRV, NLT, MSG, RLB, TEV, TLB, and TV. Notice how the Joseph Smith Translation (JST) is not on this list. This is because it is not a Bible translation but a paraphrase version of the KJV. This makes it the most evil Biblical text on earth next to the Satanic Bible. Speaking of this, the byu.edu site reports the following about the JST…
“Joseph Smith, the first prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, made a “new translation” of the Bible, using the text of the King James Version (KJV). This work differs from the KJV in at least 3,410 verses and consists of additions, deletions, rearrangements, and other alterations that cause it to vary not only from the KJV but from other biblical texts.” (Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible (JST)) And in today’s message, I will give you an example of how Joseph changed the Book of Revelation. Within the Joseph Smith Translation we see plenty of changes to the King James Version Bible. It wasn’t removing the old English like some might think, but worse than people ever thought. Therefore, it is being exposed.
Speaking of the Joseph Smith Translation, as we read from the quote above, verses were changed according to Joseph Smith’s liking. Because he believed that plain and precious parts of this translation were missing, it was up to him to fill in the gaps. He changed the wording, numbers, and phrases to what he believed it once read in the past. This happened all over the Bible, even in a Book of scripture where there is a warning against changing it. We will look at that verse later, but know that plagues will be upon any person that ads or takes away from the Book of Revelation, as well their name removed from the Book of life. And if our name is removed, then the lake of fire comes next after judgement. All this will be explained in more detail later, but look at what Joseph changed below…
Revelation 12:11,12 (KJV)
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Revelation 12:11,12 (Joseph Smith Translation)
11 For they have overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their own lives but kept the testimony even unto death.
12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens and ye that dwell in them. ”And after these things I heard another voice, saying, “Woe to the inhabiters of the earth, yea, and them who dwell upon the islands of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
In verse 11 of Revelation 12, we see the addition of “for they loved not their own lives but kept the testimony even unto death”, instead of “and they loved not their lives unto the death.” How does this help Mormons? To always remember to keep their testimony of the Mormon church until death. How crafty is this? Well, it works in Mormonism, for they do this even if their beliefs are found wrong according to the BIble. Verse 12 marks the continuation of the changes. We see sentences added to the text in “and after these things I heard another voice, saying,” and “yea, and them who dwell upon the islands”. So what does this mean for Joseph Smith? It means that he is currently in hell, awaiting judgment. In judgement, he will hear the words, I never knew you, finding out that his name is not in the book of life. Then, fear will set in as he will be dragged and then tossed into the lake of fire, which is the second death. This is after he is resurrected, and he will die once again. This is what the Bible teaches. Find those verses below…
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-15)
