Jesus is our true Savior. Nothing in this world will save us. Anything we have trusted in besides Jesus will wither away to nothing. If our hope continues in things of this world and not Jesus we are condemning ourselves. We need to not give in to the pleasures of the world. For its only reward is misery. The rush we are feeling while in sin is not worth the consequences we’ll face after this life. Many times it is hard to break away from the world because our flesh is happy and doesn’t want to let anything else in. We are content living a life of sin in secret. We tell ourselves that no one knows about it and that’s ok. This is a lie from Satan. Jesus will judge us one day and all those secrets will come out.
If we truly love Jesus than we will put our full trust in Him. We will believe in Him. We will give up a life of sin and repent. We will plead for His forgiveness. We will trust in His salvation. We will live a life worthy of His love. We will have a new outlook in life. We will desire that all people come to Jesus. We will have a reason to hope for things that are eternal. For Jesus promises everlasting life to all that believe in Him. Let Jesus be our focal point in our life. The person who we can go to when you are in need. If we believe in Him we will desire to know Him better. For He loves us all and desires that we all are saved.
Jesus, I believe in You. All truth is found in You. I put aside all my sins for You. When I feel weak you lift me up and give me rest. When I am tempted you give me strength to overcome it. My heart has been made new in your love. I hope to always be worthy of your love. I can do all things through You. I believe in Your matchless power. I will do all that it takes to follow You. For only through You can I be saved. Your love is real and is beautiful. Thank You Jesus for all that you do for me. You are truly worth believing in.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
