People can say all they want about us. They can say that believing in Jesus is wrong. That confessing our sins to God is not important. They may ridicule us for living a life for Christ. But, 1“fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.” What they say about us does not matter. Even when people persecute us, it is all for not for it is only condemning themselves. 2We are to let our lights shine and pray that the lost are found. Along the way, people may try to trip us up but don’t let that bother you. Light casteth out all darkness. Is your candle lit? If Your light shines bright in Christ, then nothing is more powerful. 1“Trust in the Lord, and do good.” Witnessing for Jesus brings great joy. A heart for the Lord brings great blessings. Devotion to God comes great power. You will be able to do great things in His Name. 1“Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” Even the things you thought were not possible, can be done, through the power of God. 1“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Great things are possible when we are used by way of the Holy Spirit. When we say, “Lord, have Your way in us,” anything is possible. In all things, if you are blessed, give all the glory to God. For He did it all, through us.
How can you know what God wills for your life? Can you live a life of faith if You haven’t gotten to know Jesus and His teachings? This is not possible. It is like saying, you can know your dad without ever talking to him. The same can be said with the Lord God Almighty. We are to read the Bible and study His words. Then as the Holy Spirit moves inside of us, ponder on the verses. Pray that you may know the meaning to them for your life. God speaks to us through His words. Our faith will grow and bear fruit as we read God’s Word. When you confide in Him and meditate on what His word says, it will be more meaningful to us. 1“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him.” If you are seeking an answer, give God time . He may answer you in all kinds of different ways. He can answer you through someone else, through a sign or through the tug of the Holy Spirit. Any way He comes to You be grateful and give thanks. Even if your prayer isn’t answered the way you wanted, be grateful to know the way. Don’t let the wicked trick you into believing that God doesn’t care for your life. God loves 1“those that wait upon the Lord”. 1“Evildoers shall be cut off” from the presence of God but the faithful will be welcomed into Heaven.
Let us pray:
Lord, it is more important to follow You than to feel welcomed in by the world. It is better for me to serve You than to obtain recognition for things that do not last. 4I am not ashamed to follow You. People can come at me and say all they want about You but I will stand up against it. I will lift my hands of faith high that darkness may be scattered and light may shine forth. 3I pray that all evildoers repent and confess their sins before men and You, before it is too late. As people of faith go out to witness for Your Name, bring us to people that are seeking. Help them be convicted of their sins and follow You. I trust in You, Lord. You are my hope and the rock of my salvation. I rest in You, for You are the bearer of all good things. I love You. Amen.
