God’s Word is Very Pure

“Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.” (Psalm 119:140-142)

What God says is pure. This includes God’s Word, the Bible. To acknowledge this means that we are living for Him and desire to be pure as He is pure. The Holy Spirit is who keeps us in line with the Father. Instead of going after the lusts of the flesh, we seek Jesus and do His will instead on a daily basis. This makes us want to serve Him in the kingdom of God. His harvest is white, yet His laborers are few. Those who serve God love Him and obey Him. This is difficult when our defenses are down, but reachable when our eyes are open to Him. He is able to give us wisdom, which leads us on the path that goes to heaven. Our ears are then open to receive his wise counsel. Walking in His light brings us genuine and abundant joy. Just remember that God uses people to bring forth His truths also. So if a Christian wants to talk to you, listen up. It could be God speaking.

I may not have many earthly treasures, but in heaven the treasures are vast. People may despise me because of my devout faith in Jesus. However, as I look to Him on a daily basis, there is no fear of those who persecute me. I will not forget the Lord and allow my flesh to grow dark in this wicked world. God’s righteousness is from everlasting to everlasting. He is holy. With the Lord in our lives, He makes us righteous and holy. This means to keep ourselves clean and not succumb to the schemes of the enemy. God’s laws are true and faithful. We are to love the Lord with all our heart, mind, and strength, and our neighbor as ourselves. In so doing, we are remembering the ten commandments also. We also remember to read the Bible daily and to pray often. The Spirit of God is with us in these efforts. May God be with you always. In Jesus’s Name, I declare these truths. Amen.
