Jesus’s Grace Is Sufficient

The grace of Jesus is sufficient for our salvation.  We can be saved because of His love for each of us.  Through His grace our weaknesses can be made strong.  The Lord knows each of our weaknesses.  He knows how easy it is to fall under sin.  Through His grace we can be forgiven.  He effortlessly takes us right back when our hearts are set upon Him.  Through His mercy we find hope.  His forgiveness is extended to all those that repent.  We might think we have left Him but He has always been by our side.  The Lord is always waiting for us to return to Him.  He desires that each of us know Him and love Him.

I am so grateful for Jesus’s grace.  Though I do not deserve it, He still shows favor upon me.  Through His grace I have been forgiven many times.  I have been so weak.  I was so tired of living in sin.  I knew that only through His love my life could change.  The Lord is so merciful.  He is so loving and kind.  I pray that His grace will always be sufficient for me.  That I can become strong through my weaknesses.  That I might learn each day to better honor and serve the Lord, My God.  He is the only person who has the power to save me.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.
8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
