Ask Your Questions To Jesus

Before Jesus’s crucifixion, Pilate had a chance to speak with Him. On this dark day, he was able to learn from our King. Listen to what Jesus said unto Pilate, for it is important for us now. It is written, “Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee. Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die. Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?” (John 18:29-34) Asking Jesus if He is the king of the Jews is an important question that everybody needs to know. Thankfully, Pilot was able to do this in person, which is a very big privilege. But on that note, Jesus does wonder if our questions about Him comes from us or others. No matter, if you are sincere when you bring your questions to God, He is happy that You are seeking answers. For to those who are sincere will receive of Him. It is my prayer that you are also sincerely seeking Jesus through the Bible, prayer, worship, and other means. Don’t let the devil fool you into believing that our questions can be answered by other means.

It is written, “Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.” (John 18:35-38) Because Pilot was sincerely looking for answers, Jesus told him that He is a king, but that His kingdom is not of this world. He was born into this world, in order to bear witness to the truth. And those people who abide in Him, have His truth in them. These are the same people who hear His voice and follow Him. Unfortunate, Pilot could understand what He meant, for He could not see that Jesus is God. Therefore, he wondered what this truth was. Now, to be frank with you all, Jesus still holds the truth for mankind. Seek Him through the Bible, prayer, worship, and other means, and He will fill you up with insight from heaven. This is what we need today, in order to properly know what is His will is for our lives. Not what the world says is important instead.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am here to sincerely ask Your will for my life. Come and speak plainly what You desire for me, that I might walk under Your commands and not the worlds. You are my King and I bow down to You alone. Take me by the hand don’t allow my flesh to win out. Destroy every evil plan in my heart and others for my life. I have given into wordily pleasures time and time again, and I am so sorry. Please come and make it so that I never go off Your holy and righteous path again. Forgive me, Lord, for doing my will when I knew better. Help me to look to You in faith at all times in the morning, day, and night. I cannot be one way during the morning and day, and another at night. Therefore, I will stay in constant prayer. To seek Your hand is to find wisdom and guidance for my life. This is all I need to be happy. I would never desire to be found unworthy in Your sight, especially come the day of Your return and when I die. It would be heartbreaking to see Your elect be raised up to be with You in the clouds, while I stay on the earth. Tears would be streaming down my face, for I would know that I betrayed You. And in judgment, I would want to go back and fix things, but that time to repent would be over. So God, wake me up to repent when I fall. Cleanse me of all my sins. Yes, Jesus, sanctify me, that I might be Your servant and do Your will instead. My heart is sincere, so please help me, Lord. You are my Savior and I need You every hour. I believe in You, Jesus. I love You, Lord. Amen.
