Why is it that when I go to different churches that I hardly ever here the pastor preach against pornography? Sure, they may bring it up casually at times in their teaching, but hardly ever do they expound upon the issues that relate from it. Do they not know that people addicted to porn are often confined to it until somebody preaches against it? They must know that many people that say they believe look at it also. This is very disheartening. Such people are committing adultery and are on the path of destruction. So again I ask, why not warn these people of the wrath to come, lest they turn from their sins and come to Jesus. People need to realize how sick and wrong it is, especially when God see’s it even more worse than us. In speaking about this wicked and vial topic, Jesus spoke on it. And for His sake, we will dive into those scriptures to see what He has to say. Let this convict you of your sinful state, if you are also under the bondage of this sexual sin. He said, 1“ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: but I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.” (Matthew 5:27-29) Surely, your sensual thoughts towards these individuals in the images and videos that you are looking at is committing adultery with them in your heart. Therefore, do as Jesus said and cast those thing out of your lives. You can start by putting a filter on your internet, and then letting Jesus do the saving. It is better for you to be saved, then to wake up in hell when you die.
Pornography is adultery in God’s eyes. And because of this, He does not tolerate it either. This is why this vial sin is on the list of willful sins that will keep a person out of heaven when they die. Now, speaking of such things, Paul said, 2“know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9,10) Among those people who commit adultery, fornicators are on this list as well. These are people that have sex outside of marriage. Homosexuals are also on this list, as they are effeminate people who indulge in things that are abominable in God’s sight. There are a list of other things that Paul mentioned, but today we will talk about sexual sin and how these things are killing our relationship with God. Therefore, we ought to flee adultery, homosexuality, and fornication, and come unto Jesus. For 2“every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18) And since we are the temple of the Holy Ghost, we are defiling it with these sexual perversions in our lives. Now, there is hope for people under such bondage still. This is because Jesus can set them free. I say this because, the Lord changed many people that were doing similar things in Paul’s time. For he said, 2“and such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:11) Praise God, indeed. Now, remember what you read today and commit your life to Christ.

Oh Lord, I pray that more pastors will not be afraid of teaching on the topic of pornography. Surely, if they are saved and You have rescued them from this sexual sin, then they ought to be preaching against it. Just as You saved me, oh Lord, from the bondage of this addiction, You are able to free anyone that puts their faith in You. We are not here to fight our own battles, for that will never help us in the long run. That is why You have called people as Your pastors in churches. These people are here to warn the flock of God of the wrath to come, lest they repent and come unto You fully, Jesus. For this reason, I pray that people that are called to be a pastor will live up to their calling and say and do as the Holy Spirit leads them and not say or do what people in the church are telling them. Surely, it is better to help people know what is wicked and righteous in Your sight, then to lead people on the pathway to hell, unknowingly. Therefore, I am grateful Lord that You have at least given me and other evangelists, teachers and pastors the boldness to preach on this topic of pornography. I am not afraid to say what You have and other men of God have said in scripture. I don’t wish to see anyone that says they believe in You to not be saved, because of a sin like pornography. These people may be in bondage now, but they can be set free through Your almighty power. Come Lord, and convict these people of their sins, so that they will confess their sins openly to You today. Then, can they be cleansed from all their sins and be placed on the path of righteousness. Surely, your mercy and forgiveness is for them. They can know the way, like I have, when we look to You, God. I love You. I trust in You, Lord. Amen.
