The same miracles that Jesus has done while He was on earth, He is still doing in people’s lives now. He has not given up on us. Sometimes it is through prayer groups, who know of a bad situation or illness in some person’s life, and then God swoops in and heals that same person who is suffering from an ailment in their body, or even heartache or pains in their life. Other times, it can come through our own prayers and our immense faith that God knows the situation and will bring total healing on His own time. All that matters is that our faith is never lost, for when it is in full force, great and divine miracles do happen in our lives and the lives of those we pray for. I know that for a reality because two miracles have recently happened to me, even on the same day. It was June 3rd that everything changed in my life. What seemed to be very bad got better overnight. That was on Monday morning, where the Sunday before was a very hard day, indeed. However, my faith in Jesus, my Lord and Savior, never failed me. Now, here is what I prayed for that led to this moment. Number 1, that the pain in pain area would go away. Each day, for about 3 weeks straight, I was feeling sharp pains in my lower left groin area and it was always painful to the touch. I tried to walk, but each day it was harder and harder, as I’d always have to hold that left side of my groin, while in my pocket, for it not to hurt. My number 2 issue was that I was that my contract was ending this month, on the 14th. Though I had interviewed for over a dozen place, none of them worked out.
These two issues that I mentioned above, my health and my job issues, weighed on my mind and my wives over the last many weeks. It brought me to sorrow at times. Since my insurance was not the best, I knew that if I got checked out it would be a lot of money, not to mention having surgery. And with my job going away, it was easy to feel down about yourself and to wonder why nobody was interested in my job application. However, each day I continued to seek the Lord and to pray for the Lord to step in and take control of my life. I knew He had led me to this point already and knew where I should still go in the future. Even with my pains, I knew that He could just touch my groin area and immediately it would be healed. This I prayed with all sincerity and humility that Sunday evening on June 2nd. Then, to my amazement, the moment I woke up on Monday, all my pains in my groin area were gone. Also, after turning my phone on, I had a voice mail for a job, of which I found out I got a job. I couldn’t believe it, but knew that it was God and that the Lord did it all. As I got out of bed, I lifted up my hands to the heavens and said, “thank You, Lord. You are so good to me God.” My wife was also amazed at what just took place. Now, if you would have seen me that day, you’d notice that I could not stop smiling. Even tears flowed down my face when I found out that there were no more worries about getting a job. Now, as the day went on and still I was feeling great, I began telling everybody about this miracle. Even today, as I write this message, my pains are gone. I am truly a walking miracle, because of God’s great love for me.
God has truly blessed my life and I cannot thank Him enough. Now, looking back, It was on February 13th of this year that I abruptly lost my job of six and a half years, but then friends came into my home and prayed over me. They even brought in food, care packets and money for my family and our situation. You could see their great love for me and it was all God working through them. It was because of their prayers and mine and my families that I then got a job on February 18th as a Contractor. Then, as prayers continued to stream in from many different people, plus mine and my families, I did not have to experience a time off work for my next job on the 17th of June also, since that contract ends on the 14th of this month. Surely, I could not have scripted this better. It was all in God’s design for my life, that we did not have to lose our house and worry about food, instead He took care of us. Our food and our health is in God’s hands and I now know this better than ever. It was when I was sick that I prayed like Jeremiah id when he said, 1“heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14) These must have been my thoughts continually for the weeks I was sick. I knew that the Lord heard my prayers and would act in His own time. This is because He already promised that 2“all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matthew 21:22) God does hear our prayers. If He can heal me according to my faith, then He will do the same for anyone that truly loves Him.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am so grateful for Your presence in my life. If it was not for You leading me, I would still be worrying about my job situation and my health issues. Instead, because my faith is for You and that I only want to experience Your love in my life, everything has worked out for the good. You have never stopped loving me and even through my health problems and job situation, You gave me peace through it all. All I had to do is seek Your hand and my path was made straight. I knew exactly what I needed to do next. Even my health situation ended with You taking over my pains and healing me. Thank You so much Lord. You are such a blessing in my life. I prayed that You would touch my groin area and it would be healed. I told You that I had faith and knew that You were there for me and You answered the call. This I know, because Your promises never fail. And because of this Lord, I was able to experience that healing touch and receive a new job also. Thank you so much Lord. You are such a dear Father and truly cares for my life. I may not be perfect, but strive every day to live a life for You. Because without You I have no peace, but only pains. It is hard to even imagine a time that You have not been a part of the life. Surely, I am strengthened daily in Your great love. I have peace day in and day out and know that You have my back, when times are hard. My flesh may want to give up sometimes when it is hard, and even look at other ways to be happy, but this is always for naught. I have learned from the past that doing Your will is the greatest joy of all. I love You most, God. All the praise and the glory to Your holy Name, Jesus. Amen.

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
15 Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the Lord? let it come now.
16 As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was right before thee.

18 Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.
2Matthew 21:19-22 (KJV)
19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
