Porn

One of the greatest, if not the worst, sins in this generation is Sexual Sin. Specifically Porn has taken over the internet by storm and has therefore infiltrated millions of people’s lives, young and old. If this addiction is in your life, than REPENT today! Looking at Porn is wicked and vile and will bring the wrath of God down upon anyone those that look upon such things or is involved in any way. No gratification in such filth is good for your soul. Know that each time you give into it, you are also walking away from the Lord. You are pretty much telling God that you’d rather live your own life out, while in the flesh, instead of walk in His ways. This is separating yourself from Him and therefore, your salvation is in jeopardy. To continue to look at such things is not only wrong by evil and God is not happy at all.

Here is Jesus’s stance on pornography. He said, 1“ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” So, for a man to look upon a woman to lust, as well as a woman to look upon a man to lust, or a man or woman to look upon the same sex to lust is adultery. This is all evil in the sight of God and very perverted. So what happens in pornography? Not only is a person being stimulated by the images and videos they are watching, but also their lust for the individuals is in full force. A person may even want to be there in person and experience the same satisfaction. I know this was the case for me, when I was addicted. Now, in all of this, as Jesus said, it is adultery. Each time you lust upon that person on your phone, tablet, computer or TV, you are committing adultery in your heart.

To better understand the gravity of this situation, for every porn watcher, we will now look to what Paul said about this matter. Not only did Jesus say that looking at another person to lust is adultery, but Paul helps us know what is going to happen to such people that look at such filth and are involved with it also. He said, 2“now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” It is made very clear here that people that are involved with Sexual Sin, or adultery, fornication and lasciviousness will not go to heaven but hell.

Now let us define some keywords that Paul addressed. Adultery is having sex with a married person that is not your own or even looking at a person to lust. Fornication is when a person has sex outside of marriage. Lasciviousness is having sexual thoughts for another person. As Paul said, these are the 2“works of the flesh”. Any person living in this lifestyle, in death, will be punished in judgement. If you are addicted to pornography, then repent and be made right before God. He has the power to change your wicked heart. You may not be able to resist the temptation but with His Armor, you will come out victorious. And once a person is delivered, God will take these thoughts captive. Please take this message serious if you are not right with God. You will know this if your heart is convicted by this message. So act on these feelings and come fully to Jesus today.

Let us pray:
Lord God, this world is surely in trouble and I pray that You will come into people’s lives and open their eyes before it is too late. I am afraid that the wages of sexual sin and pornography has taken way to many lives down the pit of hell and their souls are in jeopardy. These people have gone down a very dark road and there is no light in sight. Will you wake as many people up today that will listen to You. Help them know that looking at such things is not worth it. That the pleasures of the flesh is not worth losing our salvation over. I know that only You could pull me out of this addiction and I pray that as people submit their lives to You, today, that You will cleanse their wicked hearts also. May all the darkness be scattered and Your light enter them. They may not have the power to resist temptation right now, but You can build them up, Lord. You can give them the armor to fight against sin and no longer walk in it. You have done this for me and I am set free. You have given me freedom from the bondage that I was under. Satan had a hold of me, but You were able to cut those chains lose. Thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness. I did not deserve it but You extended it to me anyways. How gracious You are, my God. My hope is in You, Jesus. You are my rock and my firm foundation. I can do no evil with You in my life. I love You. Amen.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
