There are people that seek the Lord each day and are filled with great wisdom. It is not their own but God’s own understanding, given to them. These people are not wise in their own eyes but what God has given them through much Bible reading and prayer. He is the reason why they are so happy. Solomon taught, 1“The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.” Prudent, meaning their ability to disciple themselves in their own reasoning and to become right in the sight of God. That is how the righteous learn and mature in this life. To these people 1“understanding is a wellspring of life.” However, to those that resist the truth of God are on a wide path to hell for they instead trust in men and their own ideals. Jesus taught, 2“enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” It is so important to know if we are on the right path or not. There is no salvation for the foolish, for they trust in people above God. And to these people, 1“the instruction of fools is folly.” This can also apply to anybody believing in a certain religion that is not led by God. These religious people need to open their hearts to God and His Words, in order to be saved from the church they are in.
To the unbeliever and all those that are involved with a false church, it is so important to repent and be made right with God today. 1“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” We do not want to test our luck in judgement based on what we think is right. It is also a terrible idea to continue going to a church that has another gospel. That is why reading the Bible daily is so important. This way we can know God’s teachings and not be led astray. Paul was very concerned with the church, when he said, 3“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” If anyone teaches things that cannot be affirmed with the Bible, then be ready to discount it and run away as fast as you can. Just like sin, we distance ourselves from any teaching that goes against the purity of God’s Words. Please know that these people that attempt to violate God’s truths are evil and their deeds are wicked. They are counted with the unbelievers in judgment. Solomon taught, 1“An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.” So in order to trust anyone, we must make sure that God and His Words are in our hearts. This way, when deceivers come, we are ready to fight the battle.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray for the unbelievers and those that are lost in a false religion. My heart breaks for them and the path they are on. There is a way that can lead them out of their bondage, and that is You Lord, but they do not see it. Their eyes are shut and their pride is elevated. Will you come and convict them, this day, of their wrongs? Humble them. Show them how foolish they have been and awaken them to what is true. I know that I was once a part of this group of people and am so happy that You have come and awakened my soul from darkness. Though I felt I knew the truth, I soon found out that I was so wrong. My ideas and church beliefs did not outweigh You or Your words. Based on the Bible, Your holy standard, I was living with a false conviction. The doctrines I had learned and believed in were only of men and Your words spoke out against them in volumes. It was difficult when You first made me aware of Your truths and the false teachings I was under but I am so grateful now. What seemed to be hard to bear in the past now seems so compassionate of You to lead me from darkness and into Your light. I love You Lord. I know that all truth comes from You and Your Words in the Bible. Amen.

3Galatians 1:1-12 (KJV)
1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
