6When you are in sin, it is important to come to God, as soon as possible, and repent. Ask the Lord to help you overcome the temptation that took you down. This desire to get right with God is necessary to be in line with Him. How can we be in His presence if our hearts are not for Him? 3We are unable to walk with God if sin abides within us. This way of living is not the life of a Christian, who was born again, through the blood of Jesus. Our new walk with Christ is a new way of thinking and living. We no longer cleave to what the flesh desires but what God can do through us. We hate sin and fight against it at all costs. Along with sin, we fight against the evil one. 4We are armored with our faith in Christ. Even the Word of God defends us from fiery darts of the evil one. This lifestyle for Christ is meaningful. It gives us hope. The more we trust in God, the more we will be able to do greater things in life. Our happiness will be much greater than in the moment for it is eternal. Have you made this choice to live for God? Have you seen fruit come from your faith in Christ? Or is your belief in Jesus Christ dead? If it is, then re-commit, this day, to follow Jesus. No longer resist but come back to God and repent. Pray that the Lord forgives your sins and has mercy upon your soul. This humble heart will bring about new life. The only reason why nothing could happen is if your pride was not cast aside. Lower yourself down in humility and pray to God and He will answer your prayers.
Commune with the Lord, anytime of the day, in prayer. It isn’t about numbers. God is always waiting for us to find rest in His presence. Worship the Lord God in Spirit and in truth. Let Jesus come inside your life. If there is anything wicked, give it to Him and He will cast it out. No darkness can abide when His light comes to envelope your life. In this moment, come before God and plead for mercy. Pray like David did, when he wrote, 2“God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us.” In your cries to God, know that He is listening. 1He may not hear you if you haven’t given up any addiction but once you ask for His help to overcome it, then He is willing. The difference is, your heart. If your heart is not for God, in prayer, then He knows your true desires but if your heart is for Him then He is willing to do all things, including, heal your wicked heart. If you have been blessed and brought out of a life of shame and guilt, give thanks to God. Let it be known to God, how grateful His mercy is in your life. Thank Him for the cross. Thank Him for dying for your sins. Praise God for He is so good. His love amazes me. 2“God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” 5We are secure in our faith but those that do not believe in Jesus Christ will one day be fearful in judgement. It is better to be on the right side of God’s plan and be ushered into heaven then to be thrown into hell. Be freed from all your sins, this day, through Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, there is nothing like your mercy. I am so grateful for your forgiveness. I lived so long, apart from Your love. I chose to fulfill the lusts of the flesh instead of following You, but still You came for me. In my final hour of guilt and shame, You came in and rescued me. In my cries, You broke the bonds of iniquity. You did something that I could never do on my own, and that was, free me from my addictions. I was tortured by the temptations of the devil but I had no more need to fear. My faith in You brought me to higher ground. I could now defeat the enemy because You were fighting for me. This is how it is today, oh Lord. You continue to help and support me. You never let me down. I am never alone for You are always there to pick me up again. My faith has grown each day that I pray. Your words are a delight to my soul. I love to learn of You and grow each day in the faith. Your ways are greater. I want more of You and less of me. I love You more. Amen.

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
