Before wicked people brought forth abortion, which has killed millions of babies since its inception, evil pharaohs and kings in times past killed innocent baby boys. Truly, the same mindset that was in these evil men is now in many different elected officials, doctors, and nurses. And what is very sad is that many of these people would call themselves Christians even though they are for the murderous practice of abortion. As for this evil pharaoh that caused baby boys to be murdered it is written, “and he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?” (Exodus 1:16-18) These women knew the importance of these children’s lives and their future and would not allow these babies to be killed. Praise God that there were people that stood against the killing of innocent children like we see with pro-life supporters.
This story of this Pharaoh that knew nothing about Israel and his family in Egypt, continues with commands to kill every male baby that is born. These are those verses. “And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.” (Exodus 1:19-22) These desires to kill an innocent child is what sparked Moses to be given up before he could be killed also. We will learn about how his mother put him in a basket and let him set sail in the waters in order to not be found. Thankfully, Moses was not killed and saved by the daughter of the pharaoh. You will learn this in the next chapter. As for this message, many people in our time do all they can also to save unborn babies from being killed in abortion. Praise God that there are preborn clinics that give free ultrasounds. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that people will wake up to their sins if they have ever been involved with abortion. Unfortunately, many people who call themselves Christians are also pro-choice, which is very sad. But the saddest thing of all, God, is that many pastors are not teaching against abortion or don’t even touch on this topic in church. Surely, when abortion was first legalized it caused an uproar in the church at large. So I ask, Lord, what has happened to churches in America and all around the world. Why are pastors and teachers just giving into what the world says is ok, when they should know by the Holy Spirit that abortion is evil? And now that I think about it, I cannot remember the last time the topic of abortion was even brought up in the church I attend. But I will not let this just continue as is, I will go boldly to my elders and pastors and ask them why abortion is not addressed in sermons. I pray that people have asked them this question, but I will never know unless I first ask them myself. I just ask, God, that You help me do this with love and respect. I do not want to cause a scene, but simply get their stance on abortion and if upcoming sermons will be given on it. Help me Lord. I love You. Amen.
