All ye that say you love God, do also by word and deed. 8“Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” What does it matter if you say you’ll do something but never do it? Isn’t this lying to yourself and God? How will you grow in the faith if you continually are fed by God’s Word but never let it sink in? If we hear the words of God but not do anything about it, then it does nothing for the benefit of our soul. If your belief in Jesus bears no fruit then your faith is in vain. 5There are so many professing Christians but only some have truly been born again. These are those that have heard the gospel message of the cross and repented of their sins. They are no longer covered in sin but are refreshed by the blood of Jesus. They are made new. No longer do they do things to disobey their Father but seek to do His will and live in the spirit. How does this happen? 7Because Jesus dwells inside of them. He isn’t just a person they say they know but know this from the bottom of their heart. Because of God’s presence, they are holy. God calls everyone to repentance. 4There is much more room in heaven for those willing to humble themselves and call upon the Name of the Lord. Come to Jesus. In your prayers, 1“Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High.” In the good times and 2“in the day of trouble”, call upon the Name of God. If you do this, then His promise is, 2“I will deliver thee”. No longer walk in the ways of wickedness but let the Lord free you from bondage. He can see that many people will ignore this call to repent, because they are closed off to His words. 2“Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.” It is the hard hearted people that reject God’s message of hope.
The Lord God knows who loves or hates His words. Most people would rather walk in the ways of the world then change their ways. These are those that are a 2“partaker with adulterers. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.” People love wickedness over righteousness. Do you not know that God 1“lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness?” You are not in good standing with the Lord God if you are covered in sin. Jesus died as a ransom for our sins, on the cross. 5He loved us so much as to die for us. We have the chance to be forgiven, through our faith in Christ. Only Jesus can make us spotless from the evils of this world. If you continue in sin and do nothing to change your lives, you are condemned already. Why? Because you have chosen to not bring forth fruits of righteousness before your King. 5“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” Come out of darkness and heed this warning before the end has come. Come into the light of Jesus. If you are into drugs, alcohol, sexual sin or idolatry, then repent. All addiction is an idol. You are choosing to serve it over God. Jesus said 3“that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” 6Pornography, fornication, adultery and homosexuality is fulfilling your lustful desires. This is contrary to God. These are those that will not inherit the kingdom of God. They will be shut out forever from heaven if they do not repent. Be covered by the blood of Jesus. He shed His blood for you on the cross. Accept this sacrifice and commit your lives, today, to follow Jesus.

Oh Lord, I give thanks for all the blessings I receive from You daily. You are ever so kind, Lord Jesus. You have called me out of a life of sin, over and over, and finally I listened. Because, I humbled myself to receive You in my life, I was set free. My faith in You, is more than words. You have done a miracle in my life that I might also live by my words. I am a living testament that lives can be changed. Lord, I love everything You teach me. I am hungry for Your words. Pierce through the hearts of all professing Christians and the lost. May their hearts be broken enough to receive Your words with joy. May the walls of doubt come tumbling down. Lord, I call upon the hard hearted to repent. I call upon those in sin to come out darkness and into Your light. Lord, use me to bring them to their knees. May Your Spirit give me words to speak to the lost. May their be much fruit from my labors, of God. I desire that many more are saved in Your kingdom. I love You. Amen.
