If You Love God Love Your Spouse

Marriage is such an amazing time in our lives. We are so excited for that day. We love everything about our significant other. Their eyes glimmer in the sunlight each time you gaze at them. There is something about the way they walk. As we touch each other’s hands we can feel a peace that is beyond anything else. Love is in the air each time they are in the room. It’s amazing how in love we are before marriage but as years go by this love fades. Sometimes we wonder how we were ever so in love. Has love escaped your marriage? Does your spouse make you feel loved? Love is the most important part in our marriage. Give complements to your spouse and tell them each day that you love them. Let them feel your love through your actions throughout the day. Just as you love God with all your heart, love your spouse. Develop a deeper relationship with the Lord and He will strengthen your marriage.

For many years I felt alone in my marriage. The love I had for my wife had faded away. I didn’t understand why I was so unhappy. Then I discovered a new relationship with the Lord. He opened up my eyes and showed me what I was lacking. My heart hadn’t been in it. I appreciated the things my wife did but I never showed her love. After I gave myself over to the Lord my wife has become more important than ever. I can now see how beautiful she is. I love her hugs. I love our time together. I am so blessed of God to have such a sweet wife. She is always thinking of me before herself. She goes the extra mile to make me feel loved. When I look into her eyes I can see love. Oh Lord, I will cherish every moment I have with my wife. I love her with all my heart. I couldn’t have found this new love if it wasn’t for You, Lord.

Song Of Solomon 1:15-16
15 Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold, you are fair! You have dove’s eyes.
16 Behold, you are handsome, my beloved! Yes, pleasant! Also our bed is green.
