If there is one verse in the Book of Revelation that was added to more so than any other verse, it was Revelation 12:8. I am talking about the Joseph Smith Translation (JST), which is Joseph Smith changing the King James Version Bible (KJV), not a real translation. Not only was the words, “the dragon” added in, but the following sentence was also added in, “against Michael, neither the child nor the woman, which was the church of God, who had been delivered of her pains and brought forth the kingdom of our God and his Christ.” That long sentence replaced “neither was their place found any more in heaven.” So examining the KJV, it teaches that the dragon prevailed not against Michael and his angels, and therefore the dragon, which we know is Satan, was cast out of heaven. As for the JST, it teaches that the dragon prevailed not against Michael only. How the church of God was delivered, bringing forth Jesus and His kingdom. That is a lot to add to one verse. And what we learn in the JST is all false. For one, Michael and his angels defeated the dragon and the church was not on earth until after Jesus was born and came into his ministry. Jesus brought for the kingdom, but this verse has nothing to do with this. See below for details…
Revelation 12:8 (KJV)
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Revelation 12:8 (Joseph Smith Translation)
8 And the dragon prevailed not against Michael, neither the child nor the woman, which was the church of God, who had been delivered of her pains and brought forth the kingdom of our God and his Christ.
So what is the consequence of Joseph Smith changing the King James Bible with his Joseph Smith Translation, namely the Book of Revelation? It means that his name is not found in the Book of life. And can you guess what happens to people who are in the Lamb’s book of life? It means that they wake up in hell when they die. This is exactly what happened to Joseph Smith. Now imagine how upset the Mormon people are that see him suffering in hell along with them. I can just imagine how upset this will make them feel inside. And only then will these lost souls wish they could come back to earth one more time as to hear what Christians have to say to them, while receiving Jesus into their lives. The truth of the matter is this. Hell is real, although Mormons don’t want to believe this. They also don’t want to hear that Joseph Smith could be in hell awaiting his time for judgment and being found guilty. This is the truth of God, although their eyes and ears are closed off to His truth. I am sounding a trumpet for God, although Mormons call me a false prophet. The alarm is going off and Mormons need to wake up and stop drinking the Kool-Aid while they still have time. Lastly, I love the Mormon people and want them to know the true Jesus of the Bible and be saved. As for where Joseph Smith is now, see below for details…
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-15)
