Joseph Smith Changed the Bible: Revelation 12:4

Childbirth is an intense time for women. The pain can be unbearable for many and also not so bad for others. As a man, I can only imagine what they have to go through. All I know is that I am grateful to my mother for giving birth to me, along with my sisters and brothers. I am also grateful to my wife for delivering my two beautiful daughters. What does this have to do with Joseph Smith changing Revelation 12:4? It relates since this verse has to do with the birth of Jesus. In the King James Version (KJV), we learn that Jesus was “ready to be delivered”. Where that means that God was ready to be born but not just yet. However, when looking at the Joseph Smith Translation (JST), we learn that Jesus “was delivered”. This means that the baby of our Lord was successfully delivered already. Can you see how this distorts the way the scripture reads? See below for details…

Revelation 12:4 (KJV)
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Revelation 12:4 (Joseph Smith Translation)
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman which was delivered, ready to devour her child after it was born.

So what has happened to Joseph Smith? We know he changed the Book of Revelation on purpose. These changes are found in dozens of verses. #1. We know he is in hell. This is where he is suffering in fire and brimstone, and no water to quench his thirst. There is only pain, sorrow, and regret in this place. #2. He will go before God in judgment and find out that his name is not found in the book of life. This means he will hear the words, “I never knew you”, “depart from me”. After knowing this, it will be explained that he will not enter New Jerusalem. #3. He will receive a resurrected body that is able to die. This is because the lake of fire comes next. The moment he is thrown into this fiery lake, he will experience a second death. You see, he didn’t rise to life eternal, but to condemnation and damnation. I won’t wish anyone to experience this. However, the truth of the matter is that wicked people will also be sent to the lake of fire. See below for those details…

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-15)
