People Sin In How They Speak

People sin every day in the way they speak.  This happens in how they curse others and God, while intentionally lying about others.  People can be very offensive in not only how they speak to people, but also in their vile cuss words.  Pride is on display in these moments, where only God can humble them.  They don’t realize it but they are consumed in God’s wrath.  What people say causes God’s judgment to fall upon them.  All we can do is witness to them and pray for them.  God is real, although they deny this.  He abides with His people. For some people, they are far from saving and we just step away and allow them to say such awful things, while letting them wander until they see how fallen they really are.  David wrote, “for the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak. Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah. And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.” (Psalm 59:12-14)

As people wander around and are never satisfied, they will finally know the errors in their ways come death, hell, and destruction.  God is real, my friends.  I am His witness and will speak of my God and His mighty power.  How the Lord is so merciful to those who will call upon His Name.  He is our defense and our refuge in times of trouble.  The Lord is my strength and my high tower.   He has my trust and what He asks of me, I do.  Many people don’t understand that God speaks to us through prayer.  They pray as if it doesn’t go anywhere, but if we are sincere in truly Talking to God, He is there listening and will respond to us through His presence and the Holy Spirit.   Give Him thanks and sing to Him with me His praises. David continued and said, “let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied. But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.” (Psalm 59:15-17)  If God is with You, then give Him praise.  Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, keep our thoughts pure and holy. May we not give in to the enemy. Surely, His temptations are real and cause many people to do some terrible things. It is fascinating how the enemy comes and makes things seem like they are good in the moment. However, in this pleasure do we fall hard and not realize what we have done until guilt sets in. I have also seen this in myself and others that are unrepentant and prideful. Therefore, Lord, I ask that You will not only humble myself but everyone in the faith. Help us to not feel like we are any better than others. Help us fight against the schemes of the enemy. And if there is any real darkness in our lives that causes us to fall often into the same sin, I pray that these people will get true relief. Send them Godly people to pray over them, and if needed, to cast out any demons in their homes and in them. In Your Name, is every evil spirit cast out and into the abyss. I have seen Your mighty power on display. Your mercy endures forever. There is peace for our souls. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
