The Book of Malachi was written around 430BC. This was 170 years after the people in the Book of Mormon supposedly crossed the ocean to the Americas. Therefore, if the people in this book were real, they would not have in their possession a copy of Malachi’s writings. This is where 1 Nephi, chapter 22, in the Book of Mormon must be one of the most blatant errors in the entire book. For Joseph Smith to even think that people wouldn’t notice the words from Malachi is ridiculous. Here is that verse from the Bible. “For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.” (Malachi 4:1) Pay close attention to all those words in bold, for they will be seen in the same fashion from the mouth of a fictional character named Nephi. I am speaking of the words and phrases “proud”, “burn”, “stubble”, “that do wickedly”, and “day that cometh”.
God will destroy the wicked on the day of Jesus’s coming. How interesting that the proud is mentioned, for this includes those who are part of the LGBTQ community. They will be burned like an oven. This Book of Mormon character, named Nephi, knew this somehow also even if the words of Malachi is 170 years after his birth. This isn’t possible but it didn’t stop Joseph Smith from adding his words to his book anyways. Here is the copy of Malachi in the Book of Mormon. It reads, “For behold, saith the prophet, the time cometh speedily that Satan shall have no more power over the hearts of the children of men; for the day soon cometh that all the proud and they who do wickedly shall be as stubble; and the day cometh that they must be burned.” (1 Nephi 22:15) Those who live apart from God are part of the wicked. The same goes for people who add to and remove parts of the Bible. We must expose them for the sake of Jesus. God’s servants do this, even though it is hard to accept by those who are lost. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people of the Mormon cult will realize that their teachings go against Your will and what the Bible says. These individuals are so lost and trying to talk to most of them is very difficult to reach with the gospel truth. I don’t like to say “impossible”, God, for I was once a part of this cult. It is too bad that nobody came and witnessed the truth to me all those years before 2012. I was lost for way too long until finally came to a realization that You were not leading that church and that it is false. It helped greatly to know that the Book of Abraham was confirmed being the book of breathings and the book of the dead. How Joseph Smith married 14-year-old girls, which is pedophilia in our society. That the works done in the temple is an abomination in Your sight. Knowing this alone has helped me be a witness for You and to the Mormon community. Only You know, God, who I have talked to and have now come out of it for Your sake. I simply open my mouth for You and You fill it. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
