We are warned against false religions. The same types of churches that lead people on the path of destruction and not heaven. And the sad thing is, many so-called churches in our day are leading people to hell. These churches are The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Catholic Church, and many others also. Mormonism, because of their false beliefs in becoming a god, eternal marriage, works for the dead, their book of Mormon, believing they are the one true church, and many more things. Jehovah’s Witnesses, because of their denial that Jesus is God, that Jesus is the archangel Michael, how only a 144,000 people go to heaven, believing they are the one true church, and many more things. Catholicism, because of their elevation of Mary to godhood, their worship of Mary, saints, and angels, purgatory, believing they are the one true church, and many more things. Do these churches also teach things that are true? Yes. But this does not make up for all their false teachings that go against God and the Bible. What is interesting is John describes an angel who spoke of the destruction of Babylon in Revelation, chapter 18, which I believe is the Catholic Church. The headquarters are in Vatican City, which is in Rome, or the great city that is spoken of in early chapters. However, this church will not be the only one that falls in that day, but Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and every other false religion also. Then, will people know not to mess around with God and His true teachings in the Bible. If people just understand that religion does not save anyone, but Christ alone, people would follow Jesus and not man.
The verses I am speaking of are in Revelation, chapter 18. They are the following… “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.” (Revelation 18:1-6) If you are a part of the false churches I just mentioned, then you may not realize it, but the Holy Spirit is not in the building you attend or the church itself. Instead, evil spirits are there. Things may seem good on the surface, but on the inside, it is vial and filthy to God. However, salvation is still available to anyone in a false religion now. All I ask and God asks also is for the person to come out of it. Resign today from the false church you are part of and find a good Bible-believing church. And most of all give your life to Jesus. Then, you will be led by the Lord and no longer yourself or someone else. Following Jesus is unto salvation. Amen.

Oh Lord, it is so good to have You in my life. I know how it once was when I put all my trust in people who only failed me. I was so lost and doubts continually swirled in my mind. But now that I have You with me, my life is founded on a rock that is unmovable. Thank You for taking me out of the Mormon Church, which is false, and leading me to know You personally. I would have never made that leap of faith to know You like I do today if I took the easy way out. What would have been very easy was to simply stay in the religion I grew up in. I would have never lost friends or relationships with family if I had done this. But it was worth it. No matter if I hardly ever see certain people I grew up with anymore, I know that You have placed new people in my life that are only helping me in the faith. Nothing in this world is more valuable than that what You can do for my life. I have searched for truth throughout my life but never felt what I had was complete. It was until I found You, Jesus, that I thought I would be lost forever. Oh, how wrong I was. You took a person who was discouraged, not knowing where or what to do next in life, while leading me to write daily devotionals for my ministry. And not only this, You have given me web developer skills in order to create the site I have today. Yes, God, I give You glory for everything that I have been able to accomplish on “Daily Christian Devotionals“. It is a work of art, but only because You have done it all through me. I give You glory and praise. I surely am unashamed to tell people about You now. I love You. Amen.
