When God leads us out of harms way, there is true freedom to be found. However, only those that are willing to go the direction that God wills are saved. So we may be helped in times of need, but because of our pride, we cannot give up on our sins and, therefore, go back the same direction where the wicked are now. This is when our own lives become more like them, if we are not careful and choose to do what is righteous in the sight of God and not our own desires. Surely, our own will power will push God and His holiness out of our lives until we no longer want it any longer. This is when our hearts become very prideful and hard hearted against God. Instead of seeking His hand, our own flesh gets in the way and our lusts take over. Soon, we become deeper and deeper in sin, until it is hard to escape. Such people are either slaves to pornography, have sex outside of marriage, get drunk and or do drugs. These things are killing people’s marriages and their relationships with their family and more important their relationship with their Father in heaven. Choosing to live in such wickedness is telling others and the Lord that our own desires are more important. This is when other people that God has put under us are neglected. Even people on the streets and in businesses are not shown kindness, but disregard, for our lives are more important. Truly, how arrogant can we really get people? If this is your life, then you have a great need to repent and get right with the Lord Jesus before it is too late. Don’t waste your life, for tomorrow is not promised. This means that if you were to die, that you would die in your sins, where only hell is your destination.
When the children of Israel were led safely out of Egypt, they were given strict commands from God, in order to stand apart from the wicked and be on His side. They were to be rooted in the things of God, and only by doing this would they be safe from the enemy and not perish because of unbelief. Now as those that did walk by God’s standards and not their own, these people were blessed by God. They lifted up the Lord and praised Him, as their king. These people would gladly do as God told Moses, as this is what He said. 1“And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage.” (Exodus 13:14) It was then that 1“God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 13:18) Praise God that these people listened to God and were led by Him. They could have went back to Egypt, where they had their homes and all their possessions, but instead they left it all for God and only brought out what was needed, because of their faith. I pray that this is your desire also. Surely, these people were in harms way and would have continued to be this way until their death, if they had not harkened unto the Lord God Almighty. He called them out of bondage and slavery and because of their humility, they obeyed. Please know that these people are not alone. Many people are now searching and obeying the Words of the Lord when heard. May this be you also. Then, will He set you free of all your addictions in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let us pray:
Lord, I pray that our desires will be to believe in You and to serve You all the days of our lives. May our desires be so and also our will power to do as we have said. There is peace from the enemy when our desires are to do what You say and not our own desires. Surely, we are moved to do greater things when we give an ear to hear You. Your counsel is worth more than any other counsel we could ever receive, for in Your words is true wisdom and might. Everything on this earth is under Your great power. There is nothing like You Lord and I am honored to know You and to have Your presence in my life. You are my creator and my deer Savior, whom I love. With all my soul do I worship You and give You all the praise. You deserve all the glory and honor on this earth and the heavens above. Every person ought to sing hallelujah to Your Holy Name, Jesus. Surely, I would never be the person I am today without You Lord. My life has been changed because of Your mercy and grace. Thank You for showing Your compassion for me, that as a sinner You died for me. On the cross You suffered that I and anyone else that believes in You would be saved. From wickedness unto rebirth, do You take us from bondage and set us free. All darkness runs from Your sight, as You usher in Your bounteous light. There is no other person that I would rather serve and lay my life down, but for You, God. I love Your counsel, for it is honey to my ears. Your direction is what I need in life to be happy. I love Your ways and cannot get enough of it. Lead me all the days of my life. I love You Lord. Amen.
