How many of you actually believe in Jesus for salvation? Do you know what this means? It is important to know what we ought to be doing, in order to be in God’s will and be saved. Sure, many of you will say that you have faith in Him, but does your life demonstrate this through your words and actions? Have you truly made the Lord Jesus the King of your life or do other things rule your flesh, like pornography, adultery, fornication, drugs, and alcohol, that He hates. This is very important to think about, for if we are off track and doing our own things, then the world is our reward, which is death and destruction. If we have not put God first in our lives over this world, then our treasure will be hell fire and damnation. We will not go to heaven if our hearts are not really for Jesus. Heaven is only for those people that are adopted by God and are a part of His family. So does your faith make it so that you are now led by the Spirit or are things holding you back? If so, then you are not a child of God and ought to confess your sins, that You might find deliverance and forgiveness. Here is what Paul said about becoming a son or daughter of God. 2“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Did you get that? You must first allow God to break you free from your addictions and your willful sins, before you will receive this new life. Then, can you be led by the Spirit, for You are now His child and God can do mighty things in your life.
When I look at this world, I see many people that go to church, do worship and act their part well, where really their lives are often contrary to God. Sure, people can put up a pretty good show during church service, but during the week they do not live for the Lord. There sinful thoughts and actions would speak against that. For they do not search Jesus out and try to do what He says, through daily Bible study and prayer. Therefore, these people have missed the mark and often don’t even realize it until it is too late. Because they have not desired to know the importance of abiding in Christ, they have allowed their path to be darkened, where there is no room for Jesus to guide them. So if this is you, then please pay close attention to what Jesus said here. 1“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” If you are not abiding in the Lord and doing His will, then you will be cast into the fire, which is hell, after you die. Please know that each one of us are lost if Jesus is not a part of our lives. So begin to do what He says. Lastly, he said 1“if ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love.” If this is not your life, you are lost. Allow Jesus to live inside of you and truly repent and come unto Him, starting today.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people that say they have faith in You will truly begin to walk in this belief and say things that are pleasing in Your sight. There are too many fake Christians out there, that my soul is very saddened. I do not want people that say they believe in You to one day wake up in hell. This would so awful for them to hear the words that You never knew them and then find themselves in this dark and fiery place. It surely would not be pleasant but terrifying and the anguish would be forever. This type of end to this life, I do not wish upon anyone. Instead, I pray for their lost souls. May they truly wake up to Your love, before it is too late. There is true hope that can only be found in You, Jesus, therefore, may people begin to seek You out on a daily basis, that Your presence may abide in them. In this, will they know Your words and commands and do what You say. You have the power to heal us from all our wickedness and wake us up to new life. This I pray for. May there be a revival in their souls. I know that it is so worth living a life that is for You and not this world. My life is so much better off. I have peace, love, Joy, and a sense of direction. I am truly happy, for I have found out what salvation is really like and that is a life that is found in You, Jesus. I am so blessed to be Your child and to be adopted into Your kingdom. My prayer is that many people will join me in Your heavenly home above, one day. I love You Lord. I trust in You. Amen.
