The best time we can spend in life is with the Lord. In His holy presence we will not only find answers to our questions but also rest from all our troubles. We can seek Him to know the way and we can be assured that the Holy Spirit will come into our lives and lead us on the right path. We can be struggling with a death in the family, loss of a job, or sin and even though things are crazy, the Lord brings peace to our lives. He ushers into our hearts a better way out of life’s trials and an assurance of His mercy. There is nobody we can come to but God that will ever be so kind. His love has no bounds. No matter how far gone we might be, He is eager to take us back and forgive us. Only the Lord could beckons us home when we go astray. If you are struggling and find a need for God’s help, then do as David did when he said, 1“I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.” He did not keep his life’s problems to himself but gave it all to God. He poured out his complaints before him. He showed Him the trouble He was in. Though people went out to trap David, He knew the Lord was able to help him. People may fail Him but the Lord would never leave his side.
I am with David, in that the Lord is my refuge also. He is my strength. When I am in trouble, I can always come to God and find peace. There is never enough pain before He comes and lifts me up. The Lord God gives me hope. I feel the same way as David did when he said, 1“I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.” Though I was once dead to the things of the flesh, the Lord has brought new life into my soul. He has resurrected my soul and brought me into His light. Jesus is the way to salvation. The Spirit has spoken this truth to my heart. Because He has taken me from a difficult place in my life, I know that He will continue to be there for me till the end. When there is struggles in my life, I give it all to God. I know that He can make me stronger through it all. In this difficult state, I will call upon the Lord in prayer and say as David did, 1“attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name.” The Lord is my Savior and praise His holy Name. He is my deliver from evil and from all the struggles in life. I give everything I have to Him. My prayer is that you do the same and give God your life today.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am so grateful to have You in my life. Thank You for caring enough for me as to save my life. I know now that You love me, even when I go astray. Your love never fails. You continually beckon me to come. Thank You for allowing me to come home, though I am so lost. When I hear Your call, it is so sweat to the ears. Though my heart can get damaged in the guilt of my sins, You are able to give me renewed hope for a new day. As I repent, You show You mercy and help me change my life. Only You can do this for me. The people in this world have let me down, time and time again, but Your love is different. There is no temporary fix for my problems but real solutions that last. You are my supplier of all things good. Thank You for allowing me into Your presence. When I am with You, I have strength. I know that I am loved. Your compassion tells me I am forgiven. You are oh so wonderful and kind. You are my God and I treasure every moment to led by You. I love You. Amen.
