If we are not living for God then our hearts are wicked. We are far from Him and are filthy in the sight of God. It is time to realize where we stand with God. In our broken state, understand that you need more. That you need a Savior. We need to get over ourselves and confess our sins openly to God. It is taught that, 2“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Make a choice today to believe and follow the Lord. Allow Him to have His way in your life and lead you on His path of righteousness. Say, 1“deliver me, O Lord, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man.” God can see our desires to be healed and if this was your prayer, than healing will take place in your life. Allow the Lord to remove the wickedness from your heart and move you forward to live a life of holiness. Only through God’s hand in your life, can you be cleansed from your sins and be made clean. Allow the Lord to lead you and direct your path today. Ask Him, daily in prayer, to keep you 1“from the hands of the wicked.” You are not able to escape the temptations of the evil one on your own accord. You need the Lord to build you up and give you the strength you need to overcome the snares of the enemy.
Those that love the world over the things of God are so lost. Just saying we believe in Christ is not enough. We are not God’s elect if our hearts are not for Him. Understand that you need the Lord to lead you. We can either keep falling into sin or triumph over it. There is a way out of the poisons of this world and that is through Christ Jesus. He is greater than all things. The Lord has power to deliver us, as we call upon Him in prayer. He is always listening to us and will answer our call when we need Him most. David knew this when he said 1“unto the Lord, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord.” He needed His strength to carry on. I pray that this is your desire also. Just as David said, 1“the strength of my salvation” is in the Lord. Those that trust in God will be saved. Their love for the Lord will carry them out of the trials of this life. God’s peace causes us to live a life apart from the world. Above all else, it is better to suffer for God’s cause then to find the peace in this world. The love we find in the Lord is greater. I cherish every moment to be led by Christ. I give thanks unto the Lord for His hand in my life. I am so grateful to dwell in His presence.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I know that you are my deliver. You are my Savior and my healer. When I am down, I can call upon Your Name and You comfort me. You see the anguish in my heart and bring peace to my soul. Even when I fall into sin, You never give up on me. You lift me up when I am in distress. It is Your hand that leads me from darkness and into Your light. I am unable to overcome temptation on my own right but through You, I am strong to resist. My faith is strengthened every day that I follow You. As I look to You, Lord, I am at peace. You give me hope. I know that I can live a life of faith because You are by my side. No matter the storms in life, You will help lead me safely home. Thank You for directing my paths. I love You. Amen.

21 John 1:5-10 (KJV)
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
