Those in the Lord are made glad. There sorrows are done away and are filled with His peace. There is much peace that dwells in their hearts. His presence is among them, for they are able to contain His love. The blood of Jesus has made them whole. His blood has cleansed their soul from all wickedness. The Lord has come and heard their prayers. Their tears are seen as they confess to the living God. The Mercy of the Lord is upon them. They are forgiven for they have sought His face. He has saved them from their sins. He has cut them loose from their chains. Darkness is scattered and they are brought into His light. For this, they rejoice in the salvation of their God. 1“The Lord is exalted” in their praises. He hears their prayers of thanksgiving and rejoices with them. I am also happy to say that Jesus has saved me. I was lost but have been found. Jesus has covered a multitude of sins through His blood. The fear of the Lord has brought me to repentance. My confessions have been heard and I have found mercy in the Lord. 1“The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.” My old ways are done away and I am raised up into new life. 1“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”
I can finally say that I am done with living a life of sin. I have had enough. My life of guilt and addiction is over. My old life is dead and I am restored through Christ Jesus. To the Lord, I say, 1“open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord.” My life is given to the Lord. The Lord shall have His way in my life. Through His hands of mercy, I am made whole. I shall go 1“which the righteous shall enter.” Into the 1“gate of the Lord” will I travel. My heart is lifted up in praise. I shall sing and rejoice in my Savior. I cannot contain the praises of the Lord from my lips. To the Lord most high, will I declare, 1“I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.” I am glad in the Lord and rejoice in His mercy. It is declared, 1“blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” God is able to do a mighty work in the lives of those that love Him. They are blessed on earth and in heaven. Only God could give us such great things. He has given us a light to follow. To the Lord, I declare, 1“Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, may my praises go up into the heavens. All that is within me, I give praise and honor to the God most high. You are holy and righteous. My heart cannot contain my love for You, my Savior. I delight to be in Your presence. My heart is glad because You are with me. I rejoice for You are the giver of all things good. If I am happy now, You have done it. You have given me hope. My trust is in You. You deliver on Your promises. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for taking me in. I am made whole through Your blood. Thank You for coming into my life and giving me new breath. This new life that You have given is dedicated to follow You. Your ways are marvelous. I will go where You want me to. I will say what You want me to say. I am Yours and You are mine. I love You. Amen.
