How many of you are in distress? I pray that your burdens will be light as does the Lord. God does not desire that the people of this earth suffer. We all go through hard times but with Him, we are able to walk and not stumble. The calm serenity of God comes into our lives and helps us bear the burdens that they may be light. You will know this to be true, if He has come to rescue you from your struggles. Know that I also am burdened by the life we live in. I also feel the pains of sickness, a death in the family, income struggles and many more things. Most of all, I have felt the struggles of living in sin and not knowing how to escape it. Sickness, a death in the family, and income struggles, we all have from time to time. Those things can get better over time but living in sin cannot. Your sins will lead you down a broad road that is hard to escape. Without the Lord, you are able to stay in that lifestyle for way too long and not find freedom from your sins. Since we don’t know when death will call our names, it is important to look at ourselves in the mirror and see who we truly stand for. If it is for Jesus, then there will be fruits of repentance and a life for Christ. If it is for the world, then sin will abound, accompanied with much guilt, that will continue after this life is done. Oh, the feelings of regret, the sinner will feel if they died in their sins without reconciliation with the Lord Jesus. This feeling will haunt them forever.
Act on what you know is true and come to Jesus. Pray to Him with confession for your sins and He will answer your prayers. The sorrows of sin will be no more for Jesus will cleanse your soul. You will find peace for the troubles you are in. Just ask for deliverance, with a sincere heart, and a miracle will take place in your life. 1“God is merciful” and just to save you from your sins. He helps those that humble themselves before Him. Your faith will be strengthened as you look to God to guide you. His Word will lead you from darkness and on a righteous path that is lit. The Lord helps you walk in His light and not fall into the traps of this world. You may be greatly afflicted because of your sins, but know that the Lord can ease your burdens. Even the pains of this world, the Lord will give you comfort when you need Him most. But it all starts with ourselves submitting to God for help. Seeking the Lord shows our true intents to live for Jesus. 1“Call upon the name of the Lord” now. Don’t waste the moment. Render unto the Lord what is His. Offer Him your heart. Know that a follower of Jesus is called a saint. 1“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” These true disciples of Jesus live their lives for Him and their blessings will be poured out in heaven. Be among these people and offer 1“the sacrifice of thanksgiving” to the Lord. 1“Praise ye the Lord,” for He is worthy of all praise and worship. Oh how I love the Lord and love to praise Him.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray for the lost. I pray for those in darkness. I pray for sinners that are struggling to find their way. Will You open their eyes to the life they are living? Help them understand the consequences of sin and living apart from Your love. As they live in the struggles of this life, help them know that their sinful nature is most critical to get fixed. Other things can afflict us but our soul is in jeopardy if we are living apart from You. Being set free from our sins is the best feeling of all. To find freedom from our bondage is so great. Only You can do this, for us sinners. Your peace comes to those that seek You. I know this to be true, for You have saved my soul from hell. I was once burdened with my abundant sins until You came and rescued me. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Now I have peace that never ends. Even through hard times, I know that You are there to build me up. I love You. Amen.
