Judge Me, Oh Lord

When you are on the right side of God then you will welcome in His judgements. You have been made clean through the blood of Jesus and delight in His counsels. The cross has brought you in new standing with God. What He has for your life, it is taken in with joy, for you were once dead but are now alive. The things God can do for us now is given with much attention. We are happy when the Lord examines our lives and gives us feedback on how to be a better servant. This was David’s heart when he said, 1“Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide. Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.” If this is your heart’s desire than you are doing well in the sight of God. If you are in fear of God’s judgement than you are on shaky ground and are not for Him. There is a difference in the way we feel and act when we are for or against God. When we are for Him, we are anxious to receive His counsel and how God can use us in His plan. When we are against Him, other things, take precedence and His counsels are stumbling blocks to our lives we are living.

If you have not given your life to Jesus than do it today. 2We must be washed clean through the blood of Jesus to be welcome in heaven. No longer wait and disregard the day of your repentance. We can’t trust that tomorrow will come in life, for it could also come in death. I pray that if tomorrow does come and it is your death that you are ready to stand tall in integrity before our loving God. It will be a wonderful experience if you are on His side, if not then you will feel His wrath when He sends you straight to hell for eternity. 3Most people don’t want to go to a lake of fire, after death, but still they’d rather live a life now that leads them there. How sad is it to see so many people living freely in their sins, totally disregarding God’s teachings. God’s wrath is upon them and it will not be pleasant to witness. I am grateful for those that believe and follow Jesus. You have made the best choice of your life and all eternity. A life, forever in heaven, with Jesus will be glorious. We can’t imagine the amount of love and joy we will feel there. 3No more tears but only happiness, forever. God is so kind and merciful. He only wants the best for us.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, my heart is Yours. You have open access to my life. You are my ruler and I solute You for Your beautiful commands. I delight in Your ways. Your counsels are wise and make be a better person. For once, I can live in integrity for You are my guide. Judge my heart daily, that I might know my faults and how to better serve You. Thank You for having concern for my life. Oh gracious King, who rules the heavens and the earth, have your way in me. Help me be secure in my faith, all the days of my life. I love to be in Your presence. There is nothing on earth that brings me greater joy than to have You close to my heart. Upon judgement, I will run to Your open arms. I love You. Amen.

    • Can you tell me what is too long? These devotionals, often times are also a Bible Study. There are different chapters that cross reference each other. My point here is to help people get into the Word of God daily and develop a hunger for it. God bless you.
